I went to Lanettes hous on Route 114 and I checked out her comp and the following message appeared "There's an e-mail from someone on the PC. Your Storage System offers more convenience than mine. It has a lot of user-friendly features that make it fun and useful too. It makes me proud that I played a part in its development. Here's hoping that you'll continue research in Storage System. From BILL."

Umm... are you letting us know this or do you have a hidden question in there? If you meant "Did you know this?" then, yes.

Sorry to say this, but it's not news, at least not for me. I figured it out since I got to that point in my Sapphire. (I always check out everything, including bookcases, thanks to FRLG's Fame Checker.) What I don't get is... If they're the exact same Storage Systems (at least in FRLG), then why does Bill say, "Your Storage System offers more convenience than mine." ?

because before in GSC the system could only hold 20 pokemon in 1 box but in RSE it can hold 30/ can change wallpaper and mark your pokemon

I believe that is correct. Bill was referring to the old system.

Can Bill go into the future then. Because in FR/LG they have the same PC but they have NES and SNES but in R/S they have Gcubes! It makes me think that RBY/FRLG is far before R/S

then if you talk to everyone in petalburg youll notice that you are moving from johto so im guessing you were a character in johto somewhere aka r/s/e takes lace after the johto does

I'm pretty sure LG/FR take place in the same time as R/S/E- after all, you don't need a time machine to trade between them. Maybe Kanto is like North America compared to Hoenn as Japan- Kanto gets new technology later than Hoenn. Or maybe you just happen to like playing old games- just because the hero doesn't have one, doesn't mean gamecubes don't exist

As to the PC system, I think since Bill played a part in its development, he switched to it (or rather, a variation of it, since the LG/FR PC system is a little different from the R/S/E system) before the LG/FR hero started on his/her journey, so Kanto could have all the convieniences Hoenn does.
