I caught Dialga and Palkia in Poké Balls a couple of hours ago. It was unusually easy, I got Dialga on my seventh Poké Ball and Palkia on my fourth (yay).

lets see i cought ALOT, yesterday i cought a rotom with one then i cought a regice,rock,steel <very lucky and a latias im a verry lucky man ^-^

Other than the lv. 7 Mew I caught in Yellow...hm let's see.
When I got the Mt. Ember in my first time through FR I didn't realize Moltres was going to be there and so I was poorly stocked with pokeballs (I had two ultra balls, five great balls and three pokeballs). I couldn't catch it with ultra or great balls and I kept resetting to try again. Finally I threw a pokeball out of frustration and it caught it. Boy was I surprised.

I remember in the old Red and Blue when you used the cheat to get unlimited rare candies and whatnot there would be pokemon over level 100. At some point there was a Snorlax level 134 (or somthing like that). I remember going to get Mewtwo and I used one Body Slam on Mewtwo, leaving it with one HP. Then I promptly threw one poke ball and it worked.
Considering I was like nine at the time, it was pretty freakin cool.

At one time or another, I've managed to catch all the legendaries from Generations I-III (I don't own D/P or P), excluding Celebi, Jarachi and Deoxys. I make it a personal challenge, just to see if I can do it. It's always an awesome feeling to contain a legendary beast within such a humble Poke Ball.
(TIP: Confusion mixed with another status condition (i.e. Paralysis) as well as lowering the opponents stats increase the catch rate. So give em hell in battle, and make them weak not only HP wise, but stat wise as well.)

Just caught level 70 Lugia with one. First try, too.
I was bummed that he didn't put up more of a fight. *facepalm*

on sapphire i caught regice  Regirock  Refisteel  and rayquaza  with normal poke balls i was so suprised that i did but at the times i went to go get them thats all i had was poke balls...well at Rayquaza i had a master ball but i was saving that so i think i used about 36 normal balls on him before i got him and about 13 on regice 26 on regirock 7 on registeel i was really surprised with him

I caught a Giratina with only a dark ball. he hadent even lost HP, i jusy, caught him.
