If the president died, he probably wouldn't get this much...

The icon is dead. At the age of 50, MJ (not OJ) is dead.
He unfortunately suffered from cardiac arrest.
The man that set the Apollo. The man who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, TWICE, is gone (yes, twice - once under the Jackson 5, once during his solo career)
Spitting out #1 singles, one after the other, Michael Jackson was arguably the GREATEST icon of his day.
Remember this day well - you are a part of history.
The sinner died, and so has the angel - in other news, the original Charlies Angel had died this morning - yes, Farrah Faucet. And lets not forget Ed McMahon's passing as well. Thats three in 48 hours, two in these past 24. One comes, three comes - are we set for another death tonight?

I heard it wasn't confirmed yet, is it?
It was so sudden and unexpected.

It was indeed confirmed.
ABC, Fox, CNN (if I'm not mistaken - there's rumor that Elvis still hasn't been confirmed dead by them).
Fox News, in the US (if you have cable) has been playing afew songs and videos of Jackson, from when he was in the Jackson 5, all the way to the 90s.
