I've looked on the Psypoke Pokemon Comparer,
and the two both are rated 485.
Who would be better to use vs the elite four?

This is a poll about Golem VS Rhydon. Not Golem VS Rhyperior. 
If it was the latter, I'd vote Golem. However, Rhydon and I go *waaay* back.

Golem is so much cooler looking. So go with Golem.
But if you can manage to get a Rhyperior (dunno if you're playing Platinum or not) then Rhyperior.

I'd say Rhydon and Golem are pretty much even, but if you had to go with one then I would say Golem, because of the higher defense and access to Explosion.

if u can get your hands on a rhyperior then go with that but other wise golem is pretty sick

If this is RBY, Golem wins with Explosion.
If this is DPPt, Rhyperior wins with better stats.
