This topic will probasbly die, but here goes, what do you want to test in pokemon?
Myth: Any pokemon needing a stone to evolve won't evolve if it's holding an everstone.
Status: CONFIRMED
Myth: Explosion won't affect User if there is a Pokemon on the field with the ability "damp"
Status: CONFIRMED

The second one is true. The "Damp" ability prevents the use of Explosion and Selfdestruct altogether. I think it tells you just as you select the move, so you don't loose a turn.

May be I should add a couple to this post
Myth: you can tell if a legendary is a shining before you fight it because its sprite is also colored differently
Status: untested
Myth: In the original RBY series putting a Pokemon in the box and taking it back out after a fight could raise the Pokemon's stats

My friend got a Shiny Rayquaza and its sprite wasn't black or anything.

At least, it restores HP like at a Pokemoart, if that's what you mean.

Myth: There is a slight chance that, if Ditto is posing as a Father pokemon, the hatched pokemon might know Transform.

Myth: An egg can have Pokerus.

It does sometimes, but that's because it's based on the Pokemon's Stat Exp. The Pokemon's stats in the earlier games are recalculated each time you take them out of the PC, and additions to a Pokemon's Stat Exp. total mean that its stats will rise after being withdrawn. This was the only way that you could increase a Pokemon's stats (to the Pokemon's regular maximums based on base stats and DVs) after it reached level 100 in the earlier games. They removed this trick in DPP, which kind of annoyed some people.

Thought I'd add. I got a Kadabra holding an Everstone off the GTS, and it immediately evolved. I'm thinking the Everstone acts as a B Button - it'll only stop evolution if you can cancel that evolution by pressing B. For example, since you can cancel a level-up evolution, the Everstone would stop the evolution. I haven't tried evolving a Pokemon holding the Everstone with an evolution stone.
Is this theory correct? Has anyone found anything contrary?

This is impossible. Ditto always poses as the mother, even with a female pokemon.

And I don't think any Pokémon learns Transform via egg anyway,
BUSTED.

You can increase your shiny chance by having a SHiny ditto at the front and Transform.

Busted but I've seen it a lot on the internet.

Tested this with my shiny Ditto a while back to answer someone's question in another thread. It is false.

Flygon, I think the previous post was about a Shiny transforming into a Non-Shiny; that last one was about a Non-Shiny transforming into a Shiny.

These "myths" went from believable to just plain stupid.
Do you REALLY have to test out if ditto can pass on transform? Seriously?

I know Metronome can do Transform, but can it take on Mimic or Sketch?

Well, I've seen Mimic come from Metronome before, so I know that it happens, but as for Sketch, I am unsure. With the way Sketch works, I think it wouldn't be simply because this would allow you to give pokemon moves that would make them overkill. Of course it would be extremely, EXTREMELY difficult to pull this off, but it would still be possible.

Sketch, Chatter, and Metronome are the only things Metrinome can't pull.
Maybe more.
Chatter is also unSketchable I think.

Correct, Chatter is unsketchable, mainly because of either Audio Limitations, or just because Nintendo is lazy and didn't want to let Smeargle get Sketch.
The moves that Metronome cannot pull are:
Any move that the user knows
Metronome
Assist
Chatter
Copycat
Counter
Covet
Destiny Bond
Detect
Endure
Feint
Focus Punch
Follow Me
Helping Hand
Me First
Mimic
Mirror Coat
Mirror Move
Protect
Sketch
Sleep Talk
Snatch
Struggle
Switcheroo
Thief
Trick

Actually that is incorrect. I tested it with a Togepi that was Encored on Metronome and it brought up charm, one of it's attacks. It can bring up one of the user's moves, a big help if it has 0 PP or is disabled.
