Post Why VENUSaur?
I've been trying to contemplate this for some time, but I can't figure out why in the world Venusaur has the word Venus in its name. What does Venus have to do with being a grass-type who carries a flower on its back?

Venus fly trap (carnivorus plant) Venusaur has fangs
Venenum(Venom)- Latin for Posion Venusaur is a posion type
