Firstly, I'd like to thank the member who created this topic (sorry that I don't remember your name right now...). It causes Trainers or whatever else they might want to be considered to look at what they want to do in the near (sometimes far) future.

Secondly, I need to input my own. Even though I have almost every Pokemon game on GBA (still need a DS though...), I'll keep it in Hoenn.

In Ruby: Expand my Pokedex (92 so far, almost halfway!), sidequests, legendaries, tricky Pokes that I can't find...
In Sapphire: Getting to E4 for first time, keep training massively, trades for Pokedex, evos, legendaries
In Emerald: Currently have 4 badges, looking for Pokedex purposes (Plusle, Roselia, and Volbeat are extremely hard to find! )

ive been aiming at getting all the gold symbols for emerald since a lonnnnnnnngggggg time ago.....after about a year and a half of on/off playing i still only have the silvers, im getting close to my first gold tho

I have LOTS and LOTS of missions.
First: winning enough money on Math Olympics of the Public Schools (Olimpíada de Matemática das Escolas Públicas in Portuguese, OBMEP, here on Brazil) to buy all the third (and fourth maybe if I can) generation games.
Second: After this, getting to some Nintendo Events to have the completed National Dex
Third: Get a Platinum card on ALL Pokemon games
Fourth: Have all the possible itens
Fifth: Decorate a Secret Base with the top itens
Sixth: Get at least one of every Pokemon shiny

All this without cheating. I´m crazy, not?

Right now, I'm trying to get all the Frontier Symbols (I still don't have any yet - after over 200 hours of game play);
Then I'll train all my Pokémon to Level 75 to fight Steven, then train them to at least Level 80 (hopefully they'll eventually be level 100), for the BF.

Edit (11/30/08): Now that I got my team up to level 80, I have to
- EV train them again to fit their new movesets
- train them up to level 100
- complete the Battle Frontier, and get all 14 symbols and get the Starf Berry to transfer to Platinum for the Generation IV team I am going to make when the game is released.
- Finish the National Pokédex (completely optional- but I can still do it anyway)

I'm currently on Emerald, and then going to start on either Fire Red or Leaf Green.
Anyway, atm I've just got rid of Team Aqua for the first time in Slateport City and I'm on the way to Mauville.

My current aims are:
- Evolve my Grovyle (lvl 22 at the time I'm writing this), in to Sceptile.
- Catch an Electrike and evolve that in to Manectric.
- Also evolve my Zigzagoon (only used as an item finder!).
- Raise all of my Pokemon to level 25 or above, at least. In preparation for the next gym.



Edit:
I have now evolved my Grovyle into a Sceptile. Caught an Electrike and put that in the daycare while I go on firther in the game. Evolved my Zigzagoon and now have got a lvl 29 Linoone. Made all my Pokemon level 28 or above.

I am now currently going to take on my dad's gym in Petalburg and going to get the HM, Surf.
My team to take on the gym is:

- Sceptile, lvl 38
- Linoone, lvl 29

Well, I think most people's goals is to get symbols on BF...I got two so far and going for silver at Battle Factory.

What I'm really doing on Emerald is preparing to send all my good Pokemon to Diamond (I;m getting a DS next month), but my big goal has already been accomplished I transferred all potential BF Pokemon over to Emerald (over 75) by Ruby/LeafGreen to Colosseum, then over to Emerald. Reallllllly tedious but winter break has allowed me to finish!

My big goal is to understand Hidden Power and EV training though, because I still don't get it

I have FRLG now. LG I've got 5 badges, and 3 Lv. 40s (never happened to me before Sabrina!). Haven't started FR yet.

Also got a DS, and started Pearl. 11 seen before Oreburgh Mine! (But that's not Hoenn...)

Pokemon Ranger, the first part is completed. Red, almost completed the Pokedex (waiting for some trades). Blue is my trading point (already have 151), and Yellow is developing point (make trades). GSC don't save anymore (darn...), and Pinball...
