I don't know, but I saw at Snowpoint City today the Diamond Dust again. My DS time was set to Wednesday April 22, 2009, in case it matters. (I set it a day back, don't know why). Um, is it supposed to get Diamond Dust again?

If you look closely below the gym, or near the tree to the right of the bottom, you can see Diamond Dust. Also, on the Television Screens it was showing the weather program, and there was information about the Diamond Dust.

I've got a stupid question, but what is Diamond dust?

It's just like the snow that usually falls, but it appears different. It only happens on special occasions, but I don't know why now. It appears different in the way that it's thinner.

Huh, that's really interesting. I'm going to watch and see if I see this anytime.

Well anyway, Diamond Dust doesn't really affect gameplay, it's just a hidden easter egg that does nothing.

In addition to happening on some set dates, it can also appear randomly.

Someone asked on another forum I'm on, and that was the answer, so I'm assuming its true since it happens to some people and not others on random dates.
