I am currently playing FR and I have been looking to see what pokemon would be good to go through the game for. i.e who would be good to be the elite four.

I am definitely going to use the five below and I need some suggestions for what to be added.

Maybe Hitmonlee

why not use a grass type like or though is also quite handy and dandy

I took /vXv\\'s advice and looked at and then noticed so I have gone with that.

So I am currently at the Pokemon Tower after the Celadon gym and my party is:

Lv 38 - Thunderbolt, Mega Kick, Brick Break, Flash

Lv 40 - Faint Attack, Cut, Shock Wave, Water Pulse

Lv 39 - Flamethrower, Mega Punch, Fly, Metal Claw

Lv 39 - Sky Uppercut, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch

is this good?

I swept through the game with a:

i had Blastoise
Tentacruel
Rapidash
Pidgeotto
Flareon

yeah, my memory is foggy on that game, i'll check back later for the comeplete list of mine...gosh it has been a while.

I don't have a Team there, just my Moltres, Charizard and Dragonite. Depending whether you can trade games or not, I'd say Dragonite, though Dratini/Dragonair are sooo hard to catch in teh Safari Zone (was it FR or LG you can buy it for 999 coins?) since it's the only Dragon-type in the game at that point (I think that fact is weird) and it can know good moves like Outrage (or can it at that game?) Anyway, I failed at that game because I beat the E4 with 2 fire pokemon and a buch of pokemon I just caught. I should've done what I did on Platinum, had 2 leads instead of 1. (though on Platinum I used Blastoise and Charizard, and I can't trade on FRLG)

Its a good strong Pokemon and can take a lot of hits
