Uh, the near-perfect IVs and Curse? You might be a noob here, but are you a noob to Pokemon in general!?

Just wondering, but how do you know it has those IV's when it just hatched? Arent they inaccurate at lvl 5?

Theres only certain spreads in Emerald, and since Cuddles knew the one he wanted, those must be the IVs. Obviously, he used rare candies too, to double check.

yes i know about the curse but i was kinda wondering how you know that the IVs are that high. How exactly does one know the IV's of a pokemon?

lv100 is the most accurate. So either rare candy up to 100 or play a lv100 wi-fi battle with a friend and type in the stats. Personally for breeding I put them in the daycare till lv10, check and if it's looking good I'll check it at 100 on wifi (usually with 3-4 others)

Certain IVs in Emerald? Any place to find more info about this cause I've never heard of it. Anyways nice job with those IVs. God I'm so jealous. I don't know if this is sad, but I'm satisfied with 20+ IVs D:
