The Gamespy wrapper ads that interrupt the loading of pages every so often re-appear even when I click the "Continue to..." link, when using Safari on my Mac. This issue doesn't exist when I use Firefox. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem, but it stops me from accessing the website at all. Thanks.

You will, on rare occasions, click through an ad to another ad. There's nothing we can do about it. Just click through again.

Sorry, I should have been more clear... the ad repeatedly returns, there's no way of getting around it. It appears on any page of psypokes, and completely prevents access to the site. It doesn't seem to occur on other gamespy sites, just on psypokes.

I sometimes use an iPhone to access Psypoke, using Safari, and have this same problem. It's not just one ad, then the next, ads come up ad nauseum. (Lol, couldn't help myself. =P)

I think it's just Safari, and I don't think there's any way around it. :(

Edit: I forgot to say this, but it's useful. Instead of clicking on continue to X, if you click back, it goes to the same place you were going to. (Doesn't work when the ads pop up non-stop.)

In that case, it's probably due to the combination of the javascript behind the ads and the php behind the site.

I'll send an email to Gamespy and see what they have to say about it.

I usually use my Wii to use the internet and I get a similar ad problem a lot, except that I can still access the site after about 10-15 ads. Thought I'd mention this.

Edit: Oh yeah, the Wii runs off of Opera (rofl), so its not just Safari with the problem

OK guys, in order to sort this out, I'll need the following from you:

1) Screenshots of problem ads
2) Dumps of source code of pages if possible
3) Exact OS and version of browser

So, screen it, view the source and copy that, and get your OS and browser versions, and send me that info. Dump it all in an email to the site account psypoke2004 [AT] yahoo [DOT] com. Thanks.
