I want to change my {aggron} from my battle frontier team, because it is extremely weak to {swampert}. {swampert} could use hydro pump/surf/earthquake to kill my {aggron} swiftly. Anybody know what pokémon effective enough to counter swampert? I know, the leaf-type may be the answer, but I need a pokemon that could counter ice too (to help my {salamence} ). Is {breloom} good enough, since it could learn fight and grass moves at the same time? Or I should stick with {aggron}? Or perhaps, there's better alternatives?

I suggest using {breloom} with these moves:

Mach Punch
Mega Drain
Brick Break
Leech Seed

Kinda like the psypokes movesets here.
Only difference is you need a grass attack (Mega Drain).
Leech can help alot, it can heal you and it damages them by 1/8 of their total health each turn.

Hope this helps!

No no:

Breloom @ Lum
-Spore
-Giga drain
-Focus punch
-Leech seed

Spore and then Focus punch. For Swamperts use Giga drain. If you don't have Spore you can use things like Sludge bomb and Brick break. Ofcourse the best way would be HP Ghost and Brick break. But without Spore:
Breloom @ Lum
-Giga drain
-Leech seed
-Sludge bomb
-Brick break

Giga drain for waters and Grounds. Brick break will take care of steels, Rocks and Darks. Sludge bomb for other Grasses and Psychics with Giga drain resist. For ghost mainly Giga drain. But switch out if Gengar comes in. It walls any Breloom without HP: Ghost completely.

But Gengar will still wall all sets without HP Ghost. So if you see gengar, switch.

Is Giga Drain really a good idea? Breloom doesn't have much SpA (and you're not going to give it SpA EVs for SporePunch set, are you?) and Giga Drain doesn't have a lot of power at 60. Perhaps give it Sub over Giga Drain.

Well, Giga Drain really lacks of PP, so I won't choose it. Thank you for the solution, my {breloom} would be:

{breloom}
-Mega Drain
-Sludge Bomb
-Brick Break
-Leech Seed

It really had a balance between PP, damage, and efficiency. Once more, thank you!

Sion9, this is a set for Ingame. there you only have to hit SE. In competive things are different. There you should NEVER use Giga/Mega drain or other SpAtt using moves.

I thought, cause it's for Battle Frontier...

you won't have a level advantage. If you're trying to go for 100 wins, you'll need the best pokemon because you'll prob be fighting luck hax from OU pokemon.

Mega Drain is really too weak for Breloom...I'd use Giga Drain with max PP Ups...

If I would want to make a good team, I would then make it perfect. And making that kind of team to BF would take lots of time. I either take pokemon that sit in my boxex or breed completely new and good as possible team. If you want Swampert and Ice counter use Sceptile:

Sceptile @ Lum
Modest | Overgrow
252 SpAtt 252 Spd
-Leaf blade
-Hp Fire
-Thunderpunch
-Sub/Leech seed
