I'm new to this so I'm not sure if I'm in the right section but anyways.

I was kind of confused as to why in Shedinja's Moveset, it says to put up its attack for the EVs but his moves are special attacks. So just wondering maybe it's right and I just need to learn something new. But I really need to know so I can make a nice Shedinja.

Yes. (I'm thinking you're using this as the moveset rite?)

In RSE physical/special attacks were decided by type. Bug and Ghost were physical attacks.

In DP, however, it is decided that if the attack makes physical contact (with the body) it is physical. If it doesn't make physical contact (uses elements, stingers, needles) it will be special. Booster attacks (the ones that boos/lower the stats) and attacks that don't affect the enemy (ex. rest) are under an unkown category.

Shadow Ball and Silver Wind are Specials. The others are unknown.

I really think you should drop it with Shedinja being a special sweeper (in dp with this moveset), since it has a very low special stat. Maybe a physical sweeper.

Shedinja has nearly identical base stats to that of Ninjask, except of course for Speed.
You can't really do Shedinja as a special sweeper, but Shedinja still has several physical options, like Shadow Claw, Aerial Ace, Return, and X-Scissor.

DP movesets aren't out yet, so for those (for now), look at the learnsets page and make your own decisions.
