thats my blissey

Blissey has NO attack what so ever...it's so weak seismic toss does more dammage than all of those moves....seriously blissey is not someone you wanna be an attacker with not unless your doing seismic toss....it's a special wall, not something that's aiming to kill ppl...and its used to annoy ppl with T-wave and softboiled....

My Blissey uses toxic as a stat changer and double team and softboiled to stay in, which is perfect, but only when you can poison them and they aren't fighting types. I'm stuck with rock climb as my HM to get around, but I would use anything to burn or a special attack like ice beam if possible. She holds a chople berry.

I'm looking to replace one of my Pokemon in my current team (see my signature) with a Bronzong:
- Earthquake
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball
- Reflect / Trick Room

If I used Trick Room, would it weaken Gyro Ball?

I've been part of a discussion that asked this somewhere and sometime in the past.
No, Trick Room does NOTHING to either Pokemon's speed. It only allows the slowest Pokemon to move before the faster. As Gyro Ball's power is based on Speed, not if the Pokemon went first, Trick Room does not affect it.
Hope that helped. :)

I gave my Roselia a shiny stone just before she gained a level (she needed 200 or so more xp). But when she levelled up, she didn't evolve into Roserade. Why?

Edit: Doh, I needed to USE the stone on Roselia in stead of letting het hold it. Problem solved.

!?Nature EV - ?
- Draco Meter
- EQ
- Dragon Claw
- ?

Get a good hit in at first with Draco meter, then hit with physical. Am I wasting my time with this set or can it work?

If it's a total waste, what's your favorite mence set?

Hmm... {vespiquen} ?
{vespiquen} @ Leftovers/??? | Impish or Bold
Heal Order
Defend Order
Attack Order(Impish) or Power Gem/Bug Buzz (Bold)
Destiny Bond

Annoy them, drain their PP, and if they switch a counter in, Destiny Bond to annoy even more. Just a random idea.

Nooo, you want to make the most of pressure, and it's mild tanking abilities.

{vespiquen} @ Leftovers
Impish | Pressure
252 Def / 200 HP / 58 Atk
Toxic
Protect
Attack Order
Heal Order

This Vespiquen exploits it's pressure ability and lasts along time, just Toxic, Protect, Attack Order, Protect, if the going gets tough, heal.

Hi, I'd like you to suggest me a moveset for my arbok. I will teach it earthquake and crunch but I'm not sure about the other two moves. I'm between gunk shot, the elemental fangs and glare. But if you have a totally different suggestion I'd be happy to hear it.

I was wondering what item and moveset I should give to my Tyranitar. I don't want to mess him up because he has 31 Attack, 28 Def, and 31 Sp Def IV's and took me over 40 eggs to get.

{tyranitar} @ Life Orb
Adamant l Sand Stream
252 Attack/ 252 Sp Def/ 6 Def ( I have the berries to change this spread if it isn't good )

Dragon Dance
Crunch
Earthquake
Stone Edge

What would be a good role for a Gyarados? I'm trying to build a couple of teams & really want to use one. Also, a Breloom moveset would be great. Thanks.

Hi. Well, I like playing competitive battles and I want to train a dusknoir. While I know that an ev trained in defences dusknoir with toxic or will-o-wisp, protect etc. moveset works very well, I find that strategy very boring even if it has good results. So if I ev train a dusknoir in def. and sp.def. but with an adamant nature and attacking moves which do direct damage will it work well? Please reply to that.

Maybe a bit of a noob question, but:
If a Bronzong has the Heatproof ability, that means it gets normal damage from fire, right?

I'm currently training a Bronzong who has heatproof and just caught a shiny Bronzong who has Levitate. I'm only 3 levels ahead in training the Heatproof Bronzong, so I could still switch to the shiny Levitate Bronzong. Shinies are cool, but the Heatproof ability negates it's steeltype vulnerability to fire, so that seems like the better ability to have to me.

What do you think I should do?

It halves the damage done by fire attacks, like Thick Fat but without ice resistance.
It's your choice really, i think most would assume that the bronzong has the ability levitate anyway as EQ is so common so you could bluff. I'd compare stats and natures first and base my choice on that.

I'm not really good at judging EVs and natures, so maybe you can help me?

Heatproof Bronzong: Level 41
Relaxed Nature
HP 105
Attack 91
Defense 111
Sp. Atk 77
Sp. Def 105
Speed 33

Levitate Bronzong: Level 38
Quiet Nature
HP 100
Attack 73
Defense 98
Sp. Atk 83
Sp. Def 104
Speed 31

I want to use him to catch runners like Mesprit, so he'll have Hypnosis and Block, and 2 other attacks (haven't decided yet).

Judging by the natures alone, Relaxed would be better. It drops speed for more defense. Quiet drops speed for more special attack, which Bronzong isn't so good at. Or you can go with the quiet one, since it has levitate, so you can avoid ground types, whereas Heatproof you're still vulnerable to ground hits (human opponents will probably not try, but I don't know about the computers; they can be random) and you still take damage from fire.

Edit: I took a second look at your post. If it's just for the runners, then choose whichever one you like.

I think I'll go with the relaxed (heatproof non-shiny) one. If I ever want to use him against human players, it'll give me an edge: hopefully they won't use ground attacks anyway, they'll assume Bronzong has levitate, and it'll offer more resistance to fire which is usually a Bronzong weakness.

I got a question about Gastly/Haunter. I caught a gastly (level 13) which i plan to train into a haunter as it's final stage, haunter is awesome and i hate gengar.

anyhow.

When i caught it i went to go look at it's learning set. The guide said /gast;yhaunter learns hypnosis at level or a low level i can't remember off hand. I really want to get for its move set hypnisis and dream eater. Now is there some other way that gastly or haunter can learn hypnosis? Cause its not listed as a level up attact past 13. my current galsty doesn' have that move.

to me having a haunter without hypnosis and dream eater does not feel right. I really want to know if there is hope i can still get a haunter with dream either.

You need to go to Pastoria City, in the house diagonally right from the PokeMart there is a man which will teach your pokemon previous moves by trading a heart scale with him. These can be easily be found in the underground. Take your Gastly/Haunter to him and choose to relearn Hynosis.
Hope this helped.

Gastly Question.

I noticed it has a weakness against ghost pokemon, but isn't Gastly a ghost pokemon. Is it common in pokemon for pokemon to be week against their own type? Or is gastly not a ghost pokemon in perl?
