is there an easier way to get the three legendary dogs in pokemon gold?

Easier than repel tracking/Hypnosis/weakening/pelting balls like crazy?

That in itself is pretty easy, especially if you're like me when you've done the whole cycle 5+ times...

well i had them all except my favorite, scicune witch i had already seen and lowered his hp to about 1, and then my sister was babysitting a 4 year old and he had nothing to do so my sister let him play my game while i was gone and he erased my game. i only had like 6 more pokemon to get in my pokedex.

Okay, ...enough derailing the topic.

catching suicune is easy cuz u HAVE to face it. just get 30-40 ultra balls and put it to sleep or paralyze it.
the problem is...how do u catch entei? i was never able to find him in the grass so i gave up on him.

There are a bunch of legendary dog catching topics out there, some in Sevii Islands and some in here. You can go find them.
As for Suicune, he's only easy like that in Crystal. In Gold/Silver, you have to search for him.
