Best thing to do for the analysis volumes is, after a lot are posted, make a single topic with links to the analysis and sticky that single page. Then you could click the link to the particular pokemon.

maybe link the name of each poke on the competitive movesets guide to its corresponding pokemon analysis, that way if they just want a quick set to throw together they can go there, but if they wanna go more in depth, they can click the link to a specific pokemon..

You can always make like an analysis index, where you give any good movesets for each pokemon in separate posts. Then you can sticky a post with links to all those analysis. That gives move room for detailed explanation of both pokemon and their movesets.

i think you may have misunderstood my post... i said make THIS thread the list (ie make the names of the pokemon above the competitive movesets in this thread links to their correstponding pokemon analysis when each analysis is made), first of all so you dont waste another sticky thread on a bunch of links, but also so that everything to do with movesets and individual pokemon strategies can be accessed from this guide by clicking on this thread for some basic movesets for each poke and then by clicking on a specific pokemon's name above its' competitive set(s) to get to the more indepth "pokemon analysis"

Does anyone have a good moveset to beat

Gyarados@leftovers
-EQ
-taunt
-HP Flying
-Dragon Dance

Whenever I bring in a Skarmory, Aerodactyl, or any thing that looks like it may use thunderbolt, my friend always switches out. I'm particularly looking for a moveset that can surprise him.

Weezing owns Tauntrados. Switch in and then IMMEDIATELY assult with Sludge Bomb. They will Taunt like you are going to Haze/Wisp, so you just own with Sludge Bomb. It is a 3-5hko, methinks.

- Hidden Power Ground is more standard on Dodrio than the other ones you listed

- Hidden Power Bug is not really necessary on Primeape. It doesn't really hit anything major in UU

- On Charizard, it has Rock Slide and that can help you flinch Skarmory and whatnot.

- The Standard Golem is not the CB Variant; Earthquake / Roar / Rock Blast / Rest or Explosion Standard I think. On that set, use 156 HP / 116 Atk / 236 Def

STAB Frustration hits Electric-Types harder than HP Ground and HP Fight does more damage to Ttar than HP Ground. Thus, HP Fighting is more effecient than HP Ground.

That set is for OU Primeape to hit Celebi/Claydol. In UU, you probably wouldn't need it but I'm sure someone can figure out something to put there on their own.

- On Charizard, it has Rock Slide and that can help you flinch Skarmory and whatnot.

Skarm has high defense and low Sp.Def. Charizard has Good Atk AND Sp.Atk. Why Flinch KO Skarm in 5-8 turns when you could 1-2HKO it with Flamethrower/Fire Blast?

- The Standard Golem is not the CB Variant; Earthquake / Roar / Rock Blast / Rest or Explosion Standard I think. On that set, use 156 HP / 116 Atk / 236 Def

Meh. The Standard IS the CB. However, there is another Golem set that is equally as standard and it is similar to the one you posted.

In short: This thing needs a case of updating.

Primeape is never used in OU play, as they're too many things that outclass it.

HP Ground is for the 2HKO (iirc) on Aggron in UU.

Blissey needs help. See the creative moveset guide.
I came up with flamethrower/Psychic combo (hits normal or SE on all but t-tar and houndoom)

Look at psydex, and use those EVs. make sure to give 00 Attack IVs

The Kabutops moveset is just too bad;
~Why Rain Dance? You have no Water-moves nor you have Thunder. I know, Swift Swim but Kabutops has enough speed to overspeed T-Tar, Miltank and CurseLax.
~If not combined with Endure, Flail sucks. With that solid Defense, Flail is just a waste of move slot.
~Adamant is alright, but give Choice Band to make her attack even godlier. This beast has 360 unboosted attack, so prefer CBand over Liechi to raise its attack to even a more godlier attack. Go with this instead;

{kabutops}F @Choice Band
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 252 A, 252 D, 6 Spd / Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SA)
~Swords Dance
~Rock Slide
~Confuse Ray
~Aerial Ace
*Confuse, Dance and destroy...

I agree with you, Choice Band is a more desired move, however, isn't CB a little pointless if you'll be using Swords Dance? I mean, you'll be stuck with SD over and over. Perhaps you could take out SD, and put in Brick Break. That will help you take out the Steel and Rock types that can't be hit by AAce and Rock Slide.

Also, you might want to take out Confuse Ray. Otherwise, you'll be confusing, switching, then switching back in, because of CB. Perhaps Rapid Spin to take out the layers of Spikes?

Its too slow without rain dance.

@Salac Berry
252 Speed, Jolly/Adamant Nature. HP must be 1 mod 4 (be it 301, 353, etc.).
~Rain Dance
~Sub/Endure
~Flail
~HP Ghost/Ancient Power (speed boost)

1- Rain Dance is a sucky move on Kabutops. It has enough speed to overspeed TTar and CurseLax. Give Battle Armor> SSwim so it can survive CHits.
2- Kabutops has solid defenses. SubFlailing doesn't work on him. Give AAce and AP/RockSlide > Substitute and Flail.
3- Why not Lefties? No need to speed boost.

A good moveset would be:

{kabutops} @ Lefties / ADAMANT
252 Spd, 252 Atk, the rest on Def
~ Swords Dance
~ Rock Slide / AP
~ Confuse Ray
~ HP Ghost / Aerial Ace / Hydro Pump / Rapid Spin / SToss

Again, that was for a flail set. The rain dance may help it outspeed a magneton (I think), and the salac berry is an extra kick.

The other moveset can stay but, Tobey, may you add this to the list?

{kabutops} @ Lefties / ADAMANT
252 Spd, 252 Atk, the rest on Def
~ Swords Dance
~ Rock Slide / AP
~ Confuse Ray
~ HP Ghost / Aerial Ace / Rapid Spin

Hm, here are some 'updated' sets that's been noted around Netbattle:

Blastoise: Ice beam, Surf, Toxic, Rest w/ Leftovers
Nidoking: Sludge Bomb, Earthquake, Ice Beam, Megahorn w/ Leftovers
Vileplume: Leech Seed, Aromatherapy, Sleep Powder, Hidden Power Grass w/ Leftovers
Venomoth: Psychic, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Giga Drain w/ Petaya Berry
Victreebel: Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Swords Dance, Razor Leaf w/ Leftovers
Tentacruel: Rapid Spin, Sludge Bomb, Swords Dance, Hydro Pump w/ Leftovers
Golem: I would like to just say that on your set you have Explosion as a side move, that is incorrect. Explosion is a critical move needed for Golem. Put Focus Punch as a side option rather than Explosion.
Slowbro: Thunderwave is not an option over Rest, Thunderwave should be an option over one of the possible special move slot.
Cloyster: Explosion is usually more used than Surf so it should be a side move.
Gengar: Will-o-Wisp, Hypnosis, Ice Punch, Thunderbolt w/ Leftovers
Hypno: Toxic, Seismic Toss, Wish, Reflect/Light Screen/Psychic w/ Leftovers

I could go on but I'm getting bored hehe, might bother to add more stuff later.

I use this set of Jirachi, and it works on netbattle:

Jirachi @ Lefties
Bold | Serene grace
Evs: 252 Hp 136 Def 88 SpA 32 Spd
-Fire punch
-Psychic
-Calm mind
-Wish

Smogons Wishing sweeper set. Fire punch hits a lot of stuff like Metagross, Sceptile, Celebi and other Jirachis. It also can suprise things.
