In Celadon City, there's a game designer I think who will give you a reward for completing the Pokedex.

Questions:
-What's the reward?
-How did he mean complete, seen or own?

I think its a pper.
And, owned. So, trade for chansey, send it back over.

lol, yes - paper. A certificate, you know.

I used the chansey as an example - if you can't get ekans, because its not in your version, trade then trade back. And it'll be like you own it (for the dex).

I think the certificate is called a Diploma or something. In any case, it's just to prove that you have owned one of each Pokemon species. You don't need to own them all concurrently, you just need to have had them in your possession before.

There was a way without hacking too, if you noticed...

As for trading, sure it does you all well and good, but you have to evolve them as well to get them all. Like taking Ekans to Blue only helps with your Pokedex if you evolve it, or trade Arbok.

As for the reward itself, I've never gotten it, but am very close. (Darn Tauros!) Everything else I can get from Yellow, leveling up, and extreme blind luck...(Tauros!)

AEPMT :D :) :P

Yeah, we know how Mew can be obtained; but since this is about completing the Pokedex...

Mew is not a requirement for the Pokedex to be completed. Only the first 150, then head to Celadon.

AEPMT :D :) :P
