I was playing against the Elite 4 and I had just beaten Lance.

When I tried to save it after (I saved after every Elite 4), It took twice as long and after it said the game's internal battery is dry. It wouldn't let me save!!!!

I turned it off (Because I lost too my rivial who I named Cheese LOL) and when I turned it back on it showed a white screen.

I tried it on my sister's GBA SP and it worked.

Can I fix this ????????????
Your help is apreciated in advance!

Wait...you got that message in FRLG? That shouldn't happen - FRLG doesn't have an internal battery because it doesn't have time-based events.

Well, here's a question for you:

Is it FR/LG, or R/B/Y?

If it's the latter, it should be in the Kanto forum. (And then just follow Krisp's guide in the Johto forum; the same principles should apply.)

If it's the former...I dunno what you're getting at. FRLG lacks an internal battery. It has no real time function, and the only thing even closely related to time is the step counter. Still, that isn't battery related whatsoever.

Maybe it wasn't the game, just the Game Boy Advance SP?

I didn't think the GBA kept track of the time. But if the problem is with the GBA, then that should not affect the game at all (the internal battery shouldn't affect LG at all anyway, as LG doesn't use time based events).

Is it possible your GBA SP battery needed to be recharged?

If not, you should look at the Nintendo website for more information...

Once your game any pokemon game even D/P

Once the game is older than five years from the first ever time you turned it on it will start to act all funny with the glitches and internal battery.

There is a way to fix it with a screw driver and putting a new battery in I just can't get you a link to where it is, but there is a way i remember seeing it.
