When Ash's new voice first surfaced I couldn't stand it. It has been years since the show came out & Ash's voice never changed, weird. I like the new voice now though it is more mature & he doesn't sound so girly.

I think there is 3 voices all together. I liked the middle voice better. He sounded more like a person

Oh sweet Jesus, the old voice! I've gotten used to the new voice to the point where it doesn't burn my soul and make me want to claw out my own eyes until I bleed to death anymore, but it's still just so unnatural and unfitting for Ash. Perhaps it's the lines he's given that's part of it, but I'm not a fan.

While I'm at it, the Pokémon voices. Old ones are good, since they can't change them, but the new ones just sound like mentally handicapped humans, and they all say their name, even if it sounds dumb. They really need to hire better voice actors. 'Cept Piplup, its voice is very appropriate and adorable. Buizel isn't bad either.

The change in voice actors is what made me stop watching pokemon.
