I need help...
In LEAF GREEN
what pokemon knows sword dance AND earthquake that I can breed it into sandshrew?
Currently I have male and female sandshrews that both genders know Earthquake...
I just need some precise method of breeding chain to make this one work...
Perhaps a male Far'fetchd with sword dance breed with a female snadshrew and then get a boy sandshrew with sword dance?
then I breed the male sandshrew with sword dance to a female sandshrew with earthquake?... /me confused
thank you ^_^
(and male sandshrew with earthquake does forever breed this TM now, sweet! I got my earthwuake to sandshrew from Rhydon)
Help me! and thank you!

um...use the Swords Dance move tutor?
Remember, for whichever pokemon you use, the male must learn both moves, either by level-up, TM, or breeding. Females do not pass on moves.

Try comparing the "compatible pokemon" list here with the list of pokemon that learn both moves here.

Um...
I have a Rhydon with Earthquake..
what does it mean by "egg moves parent?"
[s]does it mean the move is only pass with breeding?
if possible, can someone clear this our for me and teach me or even give me a breeding chain of it?.... I will observe and somehow get an idea of this..[/s]
Whoops... I think I solved it..
this is what I did:
male Far'Fetchd with sword dance breed with a female Rhyhorn
Then I will get a male Rhyhorn with sword dance and level it up with an Earthquake
now I breed the male Rhydon with Earthquake and sword dance to a sandshrew..
I thinks this works..

Remember, if the baby is female, you'll need to breed again for a male, so you'd be best to produce two or three eggs, to raise the chance of one of them being a male.
"Egg move parent" means that there is a compatible Pokemon that can learn a move by breeding. This means it takes more than one breeding cycle to get the desired move onto the right Pokemon.
For example, suppose you want a with Substitute (and you've already used the Substitute move tutor). You have to trade in a male and a female from Hoenn, level up until it learns Substitute, then breed it with to get a baby male with Substitute.
Then you can breed the male with your , and the baby will know Substitute. That's a two-stage breeding chain.
"Level-up parent" means that there is a compatible Pokemon that knows the desired move by level-up, so it only takes one breeding cycle to get the move onto the right Pokemon.

thanks very much
Is there a point where multi-stages of egg move occurs?

no, but it's true that you won't get anything. Deoxys can't breed

I am just going to clear this up with an example:
Parents:
Female
Crunch
???
???
???
Floatzel Male
Crunch
Ice Fang
Headbutt
???
Baby:
Shinx(Lowest form of mom)
Moves:
Headbutt(on egg move list, so it learned it because it's dad knew that move. It can't learn moves from its mom in this way)
Ice Fang(See headbutt)
Crunch (Level-up moves can be learned at birth if both parents have the move)
Tackle(No more moves can be passed on, so it has this move which it natually learns at lvl 1)

even tutored moves can be breeded and passed on
eg.
if cubone can learn rock slide
via tutoring.
and you have a larvitar(which learns rock slide naturally)
you can breed it with a marowak
which will produce a cubone
that knows rock slide

Tutored moves are not passed on. However, as many tutored moves are TMs in DP, then they can be passed on there.

It worked because Cubone learns Rock Slide as an Egg move.
