Move sets for my favorite Pokemon (plural).

There are a few different Pokemon that I have a particular liking for. I'm not a big fan of choice items, nor very specialized pokemon (a mixed sweeper Kingdra with two water and two dragon moves). They are: Crobat, Spiritomb, Dusknoir, Rotom, Bastiodon, Walrein, Tauros, Blastoise, Hariyama, Steelix, Wobbuffet, and Mamoswine. Obviously, you can tell that I have a love of mixed tanks, but I also love very specific, technical sets. Oh, and one more thing. I only battle in double battles. These are my favorites, but if there are any tricky double sets that you know of, I'd love to hear them. I'm just going to attempt to make some move sets for the ones that I have up right now.

Crobat @ Focus Sash, Inner Focus
Jolly Nature [252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP]
Brave Bird / Zen Headbutt
Cross Poison
X-Scissor
Bite

Spiritomb @ Chesto Berry, Pressure
Modest Nature [252 DEF, 252 SP. DEF, 6 HP]
Rest
Curse
Hypnosis
Omnious Wind

Dusknoir @ Leftovers, Pressure
Careful Nature [252 HP, 252 SP. DEF, 6 ATK]
Shadow Punch
Brick Break
Will-O-Wisp
Earthquake

Rotom @ Focus Sash, Levitate
Modest Nature [252 SP. ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP]
Charge
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Thunder Wave

Bastiodon @ Leftovers, Sturdy
Careful Nature [252 ATK, 252 SP. DEF, 6 DEF]
Iron Defense
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Iron Head

Walrein @ Leftovers, Ice Body
Modest Nature [252 DEF, 252 SP. DEF, 6 HP]
Stockpile
Blizzard
Yawn
Hail

Tauros @ Wide Lens, Intimidate
Adamant Nature [252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP]
Zen Headbutt
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Strength

Help me with the other five, please.

I don't understand why you have Curse on Spiritomb; it has no physical attacks to take advantage of it. Walrein isn't going to be able to do much without another attack (what if someone switches in a fire pokemon? Then ice will no longer be effective; maybe you should try giving it Surf.)

STRENGTH? Jesus.

Also, it's getting kinda annoying to see people post 252/252/6 EV spreads. I can understand them on sweepers, but other than that, you should try to distribute EVs more wisely.

actually curse halves its hp to curse the opponent (since spiritomb is a ghost... rite?) but i still dun c y the opponent would just switch out or just kill off spiritomb (since HP is already halved and needs to survive a couple of atks to rest it off)

Right, sorry about that. Ghost Curse is even worse though, heh. You should replace it with another special attack and distribute it's EVs alittle better, since it has useable Sp. Atk.

Well, as stated in the first paragraph, I play doubles, only. I can always just toss in a good sweeper, to take out that kind of thing. Walrein will have very nice defences after 3 stockpiles, and with the other Pokemon falling asleep, you just keep on healing. As for Spiritomb, it's a Ghost type, which takes away 50% of it's health to take 25% from the victim each turn. Once again, in doubles, I can have Bronzong or some other Pokemon with a blocking move trap the Pokemon that's cursed. Plus, curse hits every type, and when it's trapped and cursed [the trap will almost always happen before the curse, i should have choose - SPD + SP. ATK], I can just put it to sleep, then recover my own health using rest. I didn't have time to put up my fighting strategies, last time I was on. And as for Strength, what's wrong with that? It has 80 Base [120 after STAB], and 100% accuracy. For such a fragile Pokemon, it's not a very good idea to be taking risks with 85% accuracy moves. Finally, none of these Pokemon besides Spiritomb are very evenly distributed, stat-wise. I personally thought that all of these Pokemon worked out better with a 252, 252, 6 spread. For example, I gave Bastiodon 252 SP. DEF and HP because his defense is higher, and he has Iron Defense. Truly, if I had a Pokemon like Spiritomb who wanted to be a mixed tank, it would probably be something like 100 ATK, 100 SP. ATK, 152 DEF, 158 SP. DEF, it's just that these work out best, overall, in my opinion.

Try to keep in mind that I am playing in Doubles, and if there is a real flaw, come up with a solution, not just blowing it off for no reason [Strength].

Oh, and finally, why would I put Surf on my Walrein? I just think you didn't read that I use these for Doubles, but it'd waste a crutial slot, because Yawn gives me time to use Stockpile, which goes with my plan to use Hail and Blizzard. The only useful way to put Surf in there would be to have some other Pokemon use Hail for me, and I don't want to waste one of my other Pokemon's slots, because I don't want another Ice Pokemon on the field at all. Truly, Blizzard is there to do the damage, but most of Walrein's strategy is surviving.

The only reason I would do that is if I had him paired up with Dusknoir, for a duo with excellent defenses, and having one Physical Attacker [Dusknoir] and one Special Attacker [Spiritomb]. I'd rather team Spiritomb with someone partially normal, so I can use Omnious Wind without having to worry about damage to my partner. It's like using Surf while your partner has Dry Skin, but not many Pokemon have Ghost moves.

The cursing spiritomb wouldn't work cause they when you use curse they switch in someone new and you dead. Nightmare over ominous wind and cosmic power (if he can learn it) over curse if he can't learn it, mean look.

{spiritomb} @ lefties, Pressure
Calm | 252 Def, 252 Sp Def, 6 HP

Hypnosis
Nightmare
Mean look
Cosmic Power / Confuse Ray

:) Great tank/staller.

even better:
Lefties
Cosmic Power
Hypnosis
Spite
Rest/Pain Split

watch as they run outta PP, moves like blizzard and even ice beams get drained faster than gatorade @ a football game

Well according to Serebii, Tomb doesn't get Cosmic Power.

And what happens if Gyarados shows up?

Bastiodon can't really attack.

@Leftovers/Chesto Berry
252 HP, 129 Def, 129 SpDef (or whatever allocation helps you wall better, you may want 252 Def so that unSTABed Earthquakes don't kill you.)
Metal Burst
Block
Taunt
Rest

Basic idea, block them, use Taunt, then just keep using Metal Burst until they die, then Rest to recover.

Tauros

This isn't bad, but use Return or Facade over Strength. Return is 102 base damage and is also 100% accurate.

i dont think thats necessary give his 168 base defense. id like to see an unSTABed EQ kill that even without ANY defense ev's. ( with the possible exception of dd mence or rampardos) . but its still nice to have some just in case.

I can seem to find it, but I apologize if I missed this, Tauros's item only helps one of it's moves, might as well choice band it o some other similar power up.

No one should try to use hypnosis/nightmare as a combo because of sleep clause, and even outside of that if they predict when you're gonna nightmare you've Still wasted a turn. That's if you manage a successful hypnosis.

And that was an impressive inability to read/comprehend Bastiodon's stats.

haha. wow, how ironic. i completely forgot about return, even though i tell people all the time to use it over strength and double-edge [unless using rock head].
