okay i know Ninjask is best for speed. but what about the other stats? who is the best passer for atk, sp atk, def, sp def? i think the best set on the respective pkmns would be:

substitute
protect/detect
baton pass
Agility/Swords Dance/Amnesia/Iron Defense

but a search returns A LOT of pkmns  Help, Por Favor

Best Baton Passer, imo, is a NInjask lead with this set:

Ninjask@Focus Sash
Adamant
252 Atk 252Spd

Protect
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Aerial Ace

Let's take an example of a common lead: CHoice Scarf Heracross. You Protect, he attacks. Your Speed increases. Then you go with Swords Dance. He attacks, you lose all your health save for 1HP. more speed. THen Protect again.

That leaves you with + 3 Speed and + 2 attack. Now, you can either lay waste to Heracross with aerial ace at this point, (and then have the potential problem of a Revengvile coming in and Ice Sharding you) or just Bpass to some bulky sweeper, (Gyarados or Metagross?)

It's a pretty cool one for attack imo, and Speed Boost is a major plus for it.

I'm a firm believer than ninjask is not as good as scizor, or gliscor or Smeargle at baton passing.

I base this on the grounds that you can Switch in a counter to ninjask to ruin all baton passing. Like, every time. Just switch skarm in and the passing is ruined, and if they have bad luck you get rocks out and then ninjask can't even come back in without losing half it's health.

Scizor, and gliscor can double speed on the switch in and baton pass out or defeat the now slower counter on a case by case basis.

Smeargle requires a good measurement of your enemy's speed but, if you can pass speed and a sub or something, you have spore, sub and bellydrum with a berry, or spore belly drum and whatever to go with baton pass.

Max attack is 6 stages. 3 sword dances. Pass that and speed from either the berry or passed earlier to smeargle then any physical sweeper becomes a monster.

I love driftblim but you have to be careful there too hp or not, he can't take a hit well, The best part is that the hp from the Sub is at least like 120, and when passed to a tank with one stock pile and it'll just Stay there for so long it's great.

It's be better if unburden was passable too, oh well.

How good is Mr.Mime at baton passing?

With 90 base speed and 120 SpDef theoretically he could hold up long enough to pass on at least 2 Calm Minds and a Substitute. Probably have a better chance if you put some Def EVs in there.

A very good baton passer is Togekiss if you don't want it to flinch hax then make it a sole bp'er.

Give it baton pass, Nasty plot, roost, and Air Slash ( as an option.)
So its very good to bp to a special sweeper that you want to power up in
Sp Atk.

Though I don't have my Togekiss with this set but its highly recommendable as a bp'er.

I love Gliscor under the right situation. Walls lots of things effectively, can learn Roost, and has a diverse Physical move pool, even though it fails to Ice Beam.

It depends on your need. If you need a REALLY quick baton passer, use {ninjask}. Otherwise, if you just need a powerful baton passer, use {scizor}.

is scyther better than scizor?
it seems like stealth rock runins it, but u can bp to somethin like a donphan that can rapid spin and take down the rock and can also beat down most stealth rockers (xcept bronzong)
or am i just wrong?

Well, if you're leading with Scyther, it's not a problem at all. Do a Swords Dance while the opponent lays down his SRocks, then perhaps do another one, (remember, it'll have Focus Sash attached) then BPass to Donphan, whereby you can Rapid Spin it away, and sweep the opponent away with whatever move you intend on using. Nice idea. ;)

One problem though: this can only be used as a lead; if you come in later in the game, then you're screwed, because SRock will not only remove 50% from you, it will also nullify Focus Sash, rendering Scyther pretty useless.
