As I've seen on forums on other sites, they have a quick reply section at the bottom of each thread. Over at another site, they have the quick reply and then there's a button saying "Go advanced." As in, you can type a quick response or go and add in quotes, format it, add pictures...etc. I think it would be a good idea to add to the forums. Any comments?

I actually was wonder why there wasn't one either. I think it kind of streches the screen at the bottom a bit though, and I don't like that....I might want to see how it goes though..

Anyways I think having a Quick Reply Option is a good idea.

This idea has been suggested before, and I personally am in favor of it, but it was turned down then; I don't remember exactly why, though.

In favour aswell. Psypokes does seem to have a less posting rate than the forums i know with quick reply.

Personally, I'm against it. It'll increase the already high number of spam posts this forum gets. I usually use the long post feature on forums anyway.

Why not? The only reason against it is that the people who spam will spam more.. Won't they do that anyways? I really don't think that by not adding the quick reply, that spammers will stop (OMG!) spamming.

Agreed.
Quick reply or not, spammers are spammers, and spammers will spam.
Try saying that 10 times over...
