On New Years Eve(I think...), Denver Broncos Corner back, was shot multiple times and killed. This is sad, not only because he was an athlete and it was a killing. He was 24 and had a lot of potential.

2006 was a year that a lot of famous sports figures died. Unfortunately, not all of them were by natural causes, such as Pata from the Miami Hurricanes and Williams from the Broncos.

What I'd like to know is why he was at a bar the immediately after a loss that sent their team out of the playoffs (and on New Year's Eve/Day). He was a great athelete (counterpart to a certain Champ Bailey) and my heart goes out to his friends and family.
