Someone found that someone else posted this somewhere. This was found in the Nintendo Power Oct magazine. So what do you think, if this is real will you attend?

There's just something about a 14 year old walking in Toys R Us asking for a Manaphy that's just... unusual. I wish I could though

thats weird! i wonder what they mean about the red scarf - will it look like its wearing a red scarf? or will it just hold the item "red scarf" which boosts one of the contest stats? and will it have any unique moves (like baton pass on the starters or wish on cresselia)? and will it have a clone-stopping ribbon like the movie darkrais? hope not, because i dont live in the US

^I think thats what the ribbon does. I don't live in Us either so that sucks.

I live in the US, and Eon, it's not that bad. I am 21 and I went to get 3 Mews at the Toys R Us Event. Also, I will try to get more than 1 Manaphy if possible. If I get extras, then Cuddles and Sum_1, you can have one each. But only if I can get more than one. I could have gotten more than 3 Mews at Toys R Us last time, but I guess I didn't think ahead. Anyways, I will DEFINATELY go!! My fiancee is going with her Pearl Version also!!

i live in canada, so nintendo needs to start recognizing canada more often....

if it's true, it seems like a missed opportunity to give out something that people can't get already

Damn, another event for me to miss, there isn't a Toys R Us within miles around here, and I know for a fact that my parents won't drive two hours just for that.

yeah its a little awkward im 17 too. but usually i just laugh it off or go so all-out that it doesnt matter. when i got diamond i wore my pokemon shirt to the store

Will they just give you the Pokemon or an item to get to the Pokemon? I'm guessing the Pokemon if its in a Cherish Ball...That makes it hard to get the right nature. Oh well...
