Excuse me, but what do you mean by stat-increasing? Do you mean stuff like Choice Band or Twistedspoon, or do you mean stuff like Iron and Carbos?

In answer to both of those: Yes; and on occasion.

Either way, no. I think the medicines (Calcium ect.) take the fun away from EV training. :D And I wouldn't be caught DEAD using X Accuracy. What a waste of a move...

haha Xattack ....ect. items are like a joke to me. im not sure how much they raised the stats but its kind like being in a real life fight being like "hey you can go ahead and punch me in the face while i put on my boxing gloves" sorry couldnt think of a better real life item.

i loved when i played blue the leaders would always waste a turn with them

I use them. I hate EV training, it's soooo boring, but, it must be done. Unfortunately - they cripple me financially. If they were alot cheaper, I think everyone would use them alot more.

Ya know you can get them in the Battle Area for, correct me if I'm wrong, only 1 BP each. You get 3 each 7-win-streak and 20 for beating the Tycoon, so they're easier to come by now.

I know, but I'm saving my BP for the power items to make EV training even faster - obviously, once I have all of them I'll get them there.

when your pokemon is already ev trained or is full in a certain stat it will no longer allow you to give it stuff like zinc. it says stuff like had no affect and it will remain in your bag. if thats not the case then i dont know

Ya I'll use them. It's a lot easier than EV training. Just wish they came with the experience you get from battling the Pokemon. I wish you could get them earlier in the game though. It's too hard to find Special Attack EV's before the first time you can buy them.

EV training, fun? HA!

I think that it makes the Pokemon yours, knowing that you have helped it from the bottom up; you have trained it since it was a little whelpling; you are the one it should call its mommy or daddy; you have kissed its boo-boos and put band-aids on them when it fell down; I'm kinda monologueing (spl?) now; blah blah blah. I hope you get my point, because I sure as hell don't!
