My Brother just Offered a Lvl 100 Sneasel for a Misdreavus 50 and up, or 60 or 70 .....i dunno....he dosent remember. But he came back and a Pokeball Dropped, it was a lvl 40 Abomasnow. I just thought i would ask about that as it seems weird. Any Comments?

so he offered a Misdreavus lv50 and up, and got back an Abomasnow? that may be a glitch...but are you sure that's what he asked for?

Yeah, but only if you trade it with a razor claw... or some item with a similar name as that. I forget the exact name.

Hes sure that he offered for misdreavus, you level up with sneasel with razor claw....but it was frim hoenn so he didnt have much choice.Yes it does suck

Check it out; if it has a wierd OT name or ID, wierd moves, or a wierd ability, get rid of it, as it is likely pokesaved.

Yes, I think Pokesav could do that. I would get rid of it quickly incase it ruins your saved game.

They look like stuff but are something else. I've seen Machokes that look like Turtwigs, Manaphys that look like Murkrow and Kyogre, Lickitungs that look like Regice, and Garchomps that look like Spiritomb.

No, that's because the Pokemon on offer was traded for whatever you see; the person just hasn't logged on to receive it yet.

Are you 100% sure of that? It seems plausible but for some reason this is the first time I'm ever hearing of it.

That does happen, however, it seems that people have managed to trick the GTS into thinking an Abomasnow is a Misdreavus...

Well now that you think about it...the "Regice Lickitung". The Regice asked for had to be lvl. 100, that one WASN'T! I think...

You saw a Lickitung, where someone was asking for a lv100 Regice? and the picture was a Regice? Then the trade already happened. You can't tell what level the Regice is.

this might be related. twice when i have been cloning, i went to get my pokemon back and when i pressed "summary" it looked like another pokemon was there instead. i cant remember the exact example, but i had some pokemon up there - probably my palkia holding a TM - and when i went to get it back it said my pokemon was a ponyta holding an escape rope. i clicked on it and it said "what do you want to do with this palkia?" and i took it back and it was fine when i got it. i had cloned the same pokemon several times and it didnt happen like this. so im guessing that this problem was probably just some kind of bad timing with the GTS getting overworked or something. anyone else seen something like this?

Yeah.. I was cloning Giratina and this happened. It look like a Carvhana, and it's name was pixels, and so was it's item, but there were only pixels around the item; it was holding a MissIngNO, maybe this is cause I was in glitch city GTS(Yes, there IS a way for DP glitch city)

It happened to me too...
And I don't believe the hasn't been picked up yet theory (yes, JUST a theory) because they are too few and far between.
Wouldn't about a quarter of the trades have already been traded?

And BTW, it may say that it has been traded to another trainer... but I believe it's just part of the glitch.

In theory, maybe. But the search may block out those pokemon unless there aren't 7 others to display. Or, there may just be so many offered pokemon that haven't been traded that it overshadows the few that have been traded and left on the GTS.
