2. I'm underpaid and overworked
3. Broken promise
4. The start of something big (neither got this one)
5. Red in the face
6. It's the thought that counts (neither got this one, either)
7. Once in a blue moon
8. He's overseas

Question Number Eight
The following sentences have something in common, except one. Name the different sentence, but most of all, WHY.
Jackals are mean, eager scavengers.
Koalas eat in the heat.
Sheep invariably munch old newspapers.
Seals are rare and hungry.
Foxes rich appetite never kicks.
Clue: The answer has nothing to do with food.

The answer is sentence #5: Foxes rich appetite never kicks.
Why it is so is very simple. You see, the sentence is grammatically incorrect:
Foxes rich appetite never kicks.
__S__Adj___S_____Adv__InV_
There is a dual subject in the sentence not joined by any sort of conjunction; rather an adjective. And I've known through experience that the simplest answer is always the best one.

Jackals are mean, eager scavengers.
Because it has a coma.

Heh, neither are correct. Keep guessing, it's a little tricky.
Start with your initial thoughts, though.
If you didn't pick up on the italicized word, it's a clue, dammit. :]

Oh JJ, you gave the answer away; that's no fun.
Now for the real answer.
The answer officially is sentence #4:
Seals are rare and hungry.
Take the first letter of each word in each sentence and you get:
#1: James
#2: Keith
#3: Simon
#4: Sarah
#5: Frank
#4 is a female name, all the others are male names. Hee hee, it was funny in a way.

DNA, you can only answer once per riddle.
Its #4, because the first letters of each word spell a name, and #4 is the only one with the name of a female
