Why do you have a Vigoroth? I mean why not evolve it?
But ok:
Mightyena@Leftovers
ImpishNature
~PoisonFang
~Protect
~Torment
~Swagger
Protect is to protect yourself when you think that your apponent is going to use a SuperEffective move, after that use Torment to prevent him from using that SuperEfective move again for 2 turns. PoisonFang is just their to do damage and poison (little bit of luck needed) your apponent. Swagger is to Up your apponents attack, and confuse him. The higher it's attack.. the more it wil hurt itself..

Slakoth and Slaking have to miss a turn each time they attack, but Vigoroth doesn't.

Mightyena @ Leftovers
Shadow Ball/Crunch
Yawn
Torment
Toxic
Not that good a Pokemon, in general.
Weezing @ Leftovers
Sludge Bomb
Flamethrower/Thunderbolt
Will-o-Wisp
Haze
Great hazer.
Vigoroth @ Leftovers
Bulk Up
Return
Slack Off
Substitute
There are better Pokemon out there which are sort of similar to Vigoroth. Snorlax, for example. Even Miltank.
Sandslash @ Leftovers
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Counter
Takes good advantage of its high Attack.

I know that.. but the status of Slaking is much much better than the status of Vigoroth..

Vigoroth and Slaking are completely different. Of course Slaking's stats are higher than Vigoroth's, Slaking's stats are higher than most Pokemon in the game. It all depends on what you're looking for in the Pokemon. I suppose that Simon wanted a regular, offensive Normal-type Pokemon, hence he chose Vigoroth. Slaking, if anything, is NOT your average offensive Normal-type Pokemon.

That's right, with a Max of 460 Attack and an Max of 350 Special Attack, a HP of 504 and a Speed of 328 It can't be your Normal Offensive Pokemon. But it fits perfect inside a Elite Team. And it's my favourite Pokemon.
