In case you're wondering a picker upper is a pokemon with the ability Pick Up.
So, the question is. Do you use one?
I'm about to get an Ambipom and EV train it for Attack/Speed to make it awesome. It's not going to be used on Wifi or anything, just in game. So when I EV train my pokemon, which I do a lot, I'll have chances of getting items. Rare candies + TM26 FTW...

Sounds like a good idea. I kind of wish they'd made Pick Up one of Bidoof's abilities, then people could've used it from the start, like they did with Zigzagoon. I love my Pickupping Linoone

I got a level 100 Linoone off of the GTS, so I carry it around when I EV train.
I already got an Earthquake from it.

I have a whole team of linoone. Four level 21, one level 42, and one 53 (There's no particular reason for the levels, but the 21's are 21 instead of 20 so they can get king's rocks)

Are you saying that you need to have the pokemon at a certain level before they can pick up items. astonishing.

Back when I needed to level up some pokes to 100, I would battle people with Vs. Seeker and meanwhile, have 5 level 100 Linoones, in hopes of picking up Rare Candies in the meantime.
I found two in the week-long process.

Yeah, I use my Meowth for Pickup. I believe she's around level 63, but I'm trying to train her to level 91+ for Earthquake (just so I can trade it to other people). But I also believe Meowth is a great Pickup character, as mine knows Thief and Pay Day as well (in case I ever decide to simply take a item or give an Amulet Coin for money).

You have a chance of picking up the new evolution stones, for one, so there are some changes in the Pickup items.

ok, ALMOST the exact same...
For example, lefties and EQ at lvl 100, rare candy is never common, etc.
