What do you do while catching a pokemon?

I don't really do anything except think about things while I'm waiting for the ball to open or stay closed. Nothing is very dramatic in my life.
On an unrelated note, This is my 100th post. Yipee.
That may seem dramatic, but if you look closer, there is no exclamation point. I didn't even say anything, it was all in my head. I do enjoy rambling though. It brings joy to my life in a non-dramatic way. _________________ All I know is that I know nothing. |

my style has changed lately to after a few missed catches (2) i start saying "get in the pokeball or die to blissey!"

My brother and I tap A or B or both as fast as we can ever since R/B/Y (we're really fast tappers now). But if you really want to get mathematical, here's this link: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Catch_rate
Basically (for the ones lost) the less hp it has the better, and that sleep/freeze work better than poison, paralyze, and burn (probably because they aren't permanent), and the catch rate of the pokemon itself. The weird ones I have read are the ones where you shout a certain word(s) into the DS. |

lol, I've been going after Azelf lately, and I keep pressing a whole bunch of stuff. Usually, though, I tap A rapidly. Like most of you, it's a habit.
