For some reason, when i start up my Gold version, There are only the New game and options tabs on the startup screen, but no continue. If i press new game and save, i can turn it off and on and there will be a continue tab, but if i wait like 10 minutes, there is no continue. Can some1 tell me wats happened to my game and how to fix it?

Ummm.. this happened to my silver version. I don't think you can fix it- I'd just recomend getting a whole new Gold version.

This happens to a LOT of Gold/Silver games. The time function is saved to an internal battery that keeps the time changing. When this battery runs out, the game corrupts or gets deleted and you can't save to it anymore. It's a very sad problem. My Silver had the same thing happen to it.

I don't think you can fix it, unless you're very good at opening up games and changing the internal batteries :( You'll have to get a new game, I think..

The Internal battery inside the cartridge can be replaced easily. I found out how to replace the battery here http://www.gamespot.com/gbc/rpg/pokemon ... 1-28688921. It says you need a soldering iron, but that is optional. I just taped the tabs to the battery.

The only flaw in my opinion in G/S/C is this problem.
