I don't know if you guys do this, but I do. All the HMs that aren't good in battle, I teach to one person and carry him around with me.
Like in RS, I use a Gyarados and teach it Waterfall, Dive, Strength, and Surf (although surf is good)
So what are you're favorite HM users

I don't really have a preferred HM slave. I use a Zigzagoon in my Sapphire version on the file I'm playing right now. Plus, it has pickup and I've already gotten some good stuff from it. I've heard that Kyogre is a pretty good HM slave but it seems an awful shame to put HM's on it even if you don't use it in battle.

Bibarel can learn all but 2 (Fly and Defog) as he is part water. So he can be pretty useful, because you just need one random starly to learn Fly and Defog

I use my Gastrodon for Surf and Waterfall, which I love because they are the PERFECT SIZE to ride on.

Strangely enough, my 6 fav pokemon that I carry around make it possible to have all hm's on me at once. Once I visit every city, I get rid of everything but fly and surf and then teach them all good stuff.

I never used an HM slave, I teach them to my pokemon until theres no more use for them and just go see a move deleter and a move tutor afterwards to get it back
