I win with mainly strategy but my brother goes for power. I just want to know if i should switch to power or stay so i'm having a one week poll to help me figure out.

Strategy, of course. With good prediction and strategic movesets and team building, you can win any battle.

There was once at time when it was power, but now it is strategy. I have grown wiser and know a good moveset for nearly all Pok

Here's some:
Spore
Mind Reader/Lock On
Mean Look/Spider Web
Fissure/Sheer Cold/Guillotine

One hit KO

Super Fang
Spore
Seismic Toss
Mean Look/Spider Web

Super Fang + 2 Seismic Tosses should KO most Pokemon.

@Salac
Spore
Endure
Endeavor
Seismic Toss/Extremespeed/Quick Attack

Make sure you have Salac with this one. Endure when you think you're gonna get KO'd. Salac activates, then you Spore them. Endeavor then use the last move to KO.

I use a combonation of the 2. Don't you need both power and strategy to win? I always thought so.

I prefer all out force later in the game, but in the beginning, I have to use alot of stratigy, because I ussually go with the starter that has the hardest time with the first gymleader (RBY FRLG: {charmander}; GSC {chikorita}; RSE {torchic})

I voted for strategy, but actually you need both power (in the form of sweepers) and strategy to win.

lol. yes. However, it really depends on what your definition of power is. Because this doesn't really make sense, since power IS a strategy. Strategy and power are one thing. I think the poll should have been wether or not to play defensivlely vs. playing offensively

I use both, considering the situation im in.

The best thing to use in a pokemon battle is faith, if you have faith in youself and your pokemon alot of great thing's can happen. I would recomend using both strategey and power.

Uh, Electric attacks can never, ever hit Ground types, so how can you say that you can beat a Ground Pokemon with an Electric attack?
