I caught a wild Seedot in my Sapphire, but you can only catch them in Ruby and Emerald...

If you mix records with somebody with Sapphire/Emerald, then you have a chance of seeing an outbreak of Seedot.

Ah, that'd be it. I mixed records with an Emerald.
