Well I have been palying my diamond a lot more now and before i had a team i posted on here consisting or Raichu, Staraptor, Infernape, Torterra, Golduck, and Gengar.

While I have decided to Keep Gengar and Golduck they have new moves and here is my new team without natures and EVs.

{gengar} @ Wide Lense
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Shadow Ball
Curse

{golduck} @ Leftovers
Ice Beam
Psychic
Surf
Hypnosis

{salamence} @ Leftovers
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Dragon Pulse

{metagross} @ Leftovers
Shadowball
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Explosion

{dragonite} @ Lum Berry
Rest
Flamethrower
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt

{blissey} @ Leftovers
Ice Beam
Softboiled
Thunderbolt
Toxic

This is mainly a new Full-Frontal team, it seems to perform rather well and I have used it in a lot of online battles and rarely lose. Although I can't seem to exploit a good moveset in either metagross or dragonite this should be a temporary setup. Anyways any ideas or comments are welcome.

You should probably remove curse from Gengar, since all it is a Roar that takes half you HP with it.

???? a Roar???? you lost me there. Curse works no matter what if you faint and if they switch out and its forced to come back out it is still in effeect. no matter what you do you cant get rid of it until you faint. by doing that against a tank like blissey or something it will take 1/4 no matter what.

I thought that Roar/Whirlwind was used in place of Haze for getting rid of stat buffs?

That is true, When you curse the enemy, the effect only lasts as long as they are in battle. When the opponent switches out the cursed pokemon and then sends it back into battle the effect will be gone. This is why mean look is so important if your going to use curse, either that or it has to be their last pokemon and hence they can't switch out.

And was that experience in DP because i'm 99% sure Curse stays with you at all times.

Wow ok then, I was pretty sure it worked the other way but if you say so. Most people dont switch haha. anyways i find it to be the least used move i have so it is possible to replace it with dark pulse or something.

I believe that Focus Punch might be a good addition in place of curse. with hypnosis on the table you are sure to hit with a 150 attack though gengars main attack is a mere half of its specail. IDK it may be interestig to try. are there any other good moves besides dark pulse and such.

i'm knd of realizing this team isn't half as good as it could be, though i have bread them to fit personalities to what i want as well as EVs i realized i didnt exploit what they were rather than try to remake them. I.E. Salamence has 2 Spc Atk.s and has a 40 point differnce higher in Atk over Spc Atk. i need to remake this sry to waste everyones time.

Another thing, you might want to get rid of Dragonite. It's just overrated and you already have Salamence

Metagross, get rid of his explosion, it's putting his power to waste, and for dragonite, keep him, but try getting him physical moves insted of special moves.

Gengar is quite ineffective against dark types. Though they are few and far between, and you can switch pokemon, so that really matters little. With Wide Lens, give him Thunder to blast all those water types out of existance.

Golduck should keep Hypnosis only if you plan on relying on it as part of your battle strategy. If not, use Amnesia for increased survivability, or Zen Headbutt to surprise opponents who send out a special tank against you.

If you're using Salamence as a physical sweeper, replace Flamethrower with Rock Slide. You can still counter Ice types, and use Dragon Dance to maximum effect.

Metagross's Shadow Ball is much less effective on him now, since it's a special move, and Metagross specializes in physical power. Replace it with either Agility for sweeping, or Gyro Ball as a sweeping countermeasure. If you're using him in link battles, keep Explosion if you have Agility ready, or if you're fighting in 2-2 battles. Otherwise try Grass Knot as a surprise move - Most types vulnerable to it are quite heavy!

You're making the same mistake I used to make when playing Dragonite. He's just not cut out for special attacks. Get him a Wide Lens, and give him Focus Blast or Iron Tail, Dragon Rush, Dragon Dance, and maybe keep Rest. If you want a less risky moveset, use Outrage, Dragon Dance, Rest, and Safeguard or Earthquake. Or try Attract, Safeguard, Outrage, and Toxic, Earthquake, or Rest.

Blissey is pretty good already. If you want to make an even better Blissey, breed her with a male pokemon with Aromatherapy, Heal Bell, or Counter, depending on your strategy. Keep Ice Beam, Softboiled, and Toxic.

An ideal setup for dragonite i was thinking about using would be Fire Punhc, Thunder Punch and Aquatail. All of those are physical and exploit his huge atk power and give me type advantage. also i believ id keep the lum berry and use my rest combo.

As for gengar the wide lense and thunder idea appealed to me seeing as i need to remove curse. Shadowball and Dream eater destroy dar so i dont know what you're talking about, with gengars speed nearly maxed and Spc Atk with wide lense makes him a beast in disguise = )

I believe i will replace flamethrower with rockslide on Salamence to make him a physical sweeper, but now im thinking i have no fire moves... so i think i might remove thunderbolt from blissey and add flamethrower... i'll have to test it.

As for Metagross idk i like shadowball but it is rather weak, i'll look inot the moves recommended thus far.

I thought about those too for Dragonite. But consider: Elemental Punches when super effective have 150 base power. Aqua Tail when super effective has 160 base power. Outrage on Dragonite is 180. Dragon Rush is 150. Even with super effective, Outrage is still more powerful, and Dragon Rush is equal to their power. However, you might want Fire Punch or Aqua Tail for those pesky dragon-resistant Steel types.

Or max out Dragonite's Attack and Speed, with an Adamant nature and high attack IVs, give him a Choice Band, and have him obliterate 1-3 opponents in one Outrage. Then switch out and use another pokemon. Have this pokemon faint after dealing as much damage as possible and send out Dragonite. Repeat until you win.

If Gengar gets Thunder, he'll be able to wipe out dark types while they're snoozing. Electrifing, isn't it?

Not sure about the Salamence. The Dragonite can serve the same role better, with Fire Punch, Outrage, and Dragon Dance. You got fire covered, or alternatively you can go for brute force.

Not sure about Metagross, but there's still plenty of time to change your pokemon around.

ye, i love gengar, i think it needs to be classified as an uber im sorry but he PWNS, with dragonite being a super powerful Atk and Spc sweeper it pwns. Blissey is a TANK omg but earthquake recks it, so i was thinking counter might be nice seeing as i have 689 HP = p haha those 3 alone are great, just have to find the best combos for the others.

Yeah. Gengar becomes a terror with those Wide Lens. :D Dragonite has become even more powerful due to Outrage's power being increased by 30 points and switched to physical attack. Blissey is still the super tank. Hey, you know what I would like to do? Baton Pass three Iron Defenses onto Blissey.
