Gengar give 3 Sp. Attack EV's.
And the best place for Attack EV training (at laste for me) is Route 209, when you fish with the Super Rod. The only encounters you get are Seaking and Gyarados, which give you 2 Attack EV's each. I don't know the exact rarity of each, but I know these two are the only Pokémon that appear.

Excellent. I've been waiting for this list for a while. *grabs pokeballs and runs off to the Old Chateau*

No problem, not that I've done much, I;ve just collected other peoples information, anyway, I *think* we pretty much have everything covered now, unless anyone has anymore fab HP training spots!

I hope people stop talking about how it needs to be stickied and end up filling it with spam forcing it to be deleted.
Honestly I think the guys running the site just need to think about the subject then update the site with the information when they can and trash the topic.

Just one question to do with something that isn't to clear.
When you say room with the eyes for gengar, what room is that? O_o

And is there a 100% chance of seeing it?

I couldn't figure that out at first either.
It's the room on the second floor, if you go through the northern door from the main room, and then through another door toward the right (don't remember which exactly) there's a picture on the northern wall that's purple. It has glowing red eyes, and when you walk up to it, they go away. (oooh... scary... >.>)
BTW, I didn't see if Nubby's corrected this yet or not, but Haunters don't require the insertion of a GBA game, and they can be found anywhere.

Hmm according to the psydex you do in order to encounter them in the chateau

You may be right, because my sources (lolstop) doesn't mention the Old Chateau. I just realized, though, if you want to find more Haunters, if you insert a GBA game into the DS, Haunters are common in Turnback Cave. (Just make sure you're ready for the high levels.;;)

Posting in the right topic does wonders.
The Effort points just haven't shown up yet. They do eventually.

Speed EVs.
Victory Road B1 (SURF) - Golbat 2 EVS per kill 100% encounter rate
Victory Road Deep B1 (SURF) - Golbat 2 EVS per kill 100% encounter rate
Best place for Speed EVS=D. You're welcome.

I found this out earlier, it's so much better than Starly's.
Special Attack:
Golduck (2 EV's per kill, 100% encounter rate) @ Resort Area, surf just south east of the Pokémon centre.
