LOL, yeah, it's possible, it just takes an IMMENSE amount of time to do it.
But wouldn't they start disobeying you if trained them to level 100 before you got your first badge? Like around level 30 or something?

Only traded Pokemon will disobey you like that, iirc.
I usually train with the two Seven Island people near the Chansey house. Battle, heal, battle, heal...gets repetitive but it works. And it's funny watching your character dance.

I train in various places mentioned above, but as always, the E4 is a good place to go... unless you're training a new team like me and know they would wipe you out clean before you laid a single hand on them x____x

SulfoniX and Gnaaye are right. Victory Road is an excellent place to train. Also the Elite Four are great for training too.

The beach right near the volcano spa place or whatever, right before mt ember on One Island is great for flying types in the 50s, spamming vs seeker on the two martial artists, the girl with the mankey/primeape, and the dual team with machoke + primeape.

Same place as Silver KP for me, but for different reasons.
I'm trying to train my Gaia to level 100 (done the whole hatching, Eving rubish,) and am intending on trading it to PD when I get it.
The Chansey falls to a single EQ, the Tangela (dude above Chansey girl) dies to Rock Slide, and the Exeggutor die to Crunch. I haven't given Gaia any sp. attack EVs, and it still OHKOs it.
By the way, Gaia, is my female Tyranitar. Gaia is the Goddess of Earth, hence the name. (I know, its a rock type, but it still sounds pwetty. )

my favorite place to train would be the Elite Four (after second time [of course]) for 2 reasons: 1) they have some decent lvl pokemon 2) i always test myself to see how fast i can beat them.

1, 5, 7 Islands and the Elite 4. By my Guess the max exp gained in the Elite 4 if only using 1 pokemon, traded and holding the lucky egg is about 75000 exp!!!
With lucky egg, 45000 exp!!
(use 2 or more pokemon for next) Just exp share probably 30000!
I used 5 island resort to get my butterfree from Lv. 25 to Lv. 52
I used 7 island to get mewtwo from Lv.99 to 100!
Also to train my BLISSEY from lv 39 to 80!!
A word of warning to those who do not know it: The guy in the chansey place does not have a PC so bring whoever you want leveled up out there and have a pokemon with fly because the wild pokemon can get annoying! Also grab the lucky punch so you chansey trainers will have a better critical hit ratio (does not work with blissey )
7 island trainers: Teach a Blissey Counter and Seismic Toss (Counter @ Celadon Store; S. Toss at pewter city museum in area where you cut a tree) and feel the power. Most all of the girl's pokemon will use physical moves so use counter and S. Toss on ninetales. The boy has a machamp, so use a flying or psychic move against him. Chansey will also learn these moves but neither will ever be able to breed them down.

Exactly what i do for my (lvl 54) and (lvl 53).
As for my (lvl 58), I beat the E4 over and over again. (Well, i havn't beatin it yet, i only get up to my rival.
That's only because I dont want to beat him, i could easily use more revives and Full Restores, but I want exp.
But i beat the first one with just and the second one with and . The third Elite i use , , , and )
I train my (lvl 51) in the Pokemon Mansion and on One Island.
And my (lvl 50) and (lvl 49) gain exp from the exp share.
And you can see all those pokemon on my TC in my sig.

Do their levels ever go above 39, I've fought them 10+ times and their levels have never gone up.

If you fight a level 50 pokemon owned by a trainer, you get 1.5 times the Exp you'd get from fighting that same pokemon if it were wild. Thus, it's almost always better to fight trainers with high level pokemon than the wild pokemon in Cerulean Cave.

Now that I have beatin the E4, I train my putting an exp. share on a guy, then I face them again with Mewtwo, Charzard, Venasaur, and Tyranitar.
