You, yes YOU!, have a chance to create the next trainer card badge! I won't say what it's going to be used for yet, but let's just say it's part of that surprise I was talking about in the trivia thread.

RULES

no larger than 20 pixels high and 16px wide, no smaller than 16px high or 12px wide
must be saved as png or gif, and they MUST be transparent
the image doesn't have to resemble a badge/ribbon. be creative.
everyone may make up to FOUR badges to enter into the contest

PRIZES

First Place: 2000 Psybucks, and you will get to use the badge in your trainer card.
Second Place: 1000 Psybucks
Third Place: 500 Psybucks

Every user with an entry (that follows the rules) will get 100 Psybucks!

I'll edit my post later, but I do have a question - how do you make it transparent? Do you mean false transparency (just taking the forum background), or true transparency, through some photoshop technique? Or do you just want a white background?

Entry 1:

I wasn't trying to be fancy, I thought that plain might go down well. Gold and Silver represents intellect as a currency, symbolising the bux you get after each quiz.

Entry 2:

I chose this because of Xatu's intelligence, and that it is my favourite Pokemon. I got the RSE Sprite, and then used it to base how it would look from a side on view. I like this one more than the other, but its up to whoever judges.

If these go on TCs, obviously you can't just "cheat" and use the background color; you need to make them transparent.

Um, in which case, consider my application void. I only have paint and it seems that 'cheating' is the only way in which it will appear transparent.

p.s. oh yes, can someone please check if some of mine are transparent, the program said they were but i can't really see much difference in IE6 since it doesn't support them very well.

You don't have to make four, but you can make up to four. It definitely improves your chances.

also, I would like everyone to pay special attention to the pixel limits. Any badge that doesn't fall in the pixel range is disqualified.

And if you guys are wondering what the symbol means, well, I wanted it to look like a "P" for Psypoke, but it didn't look right, and then I got a bit inspired from Girafarig. and flipped the "P" so that it looks like what it does now.

How the hell doyou make this stuff and TC's and sig's and fusions and other stuff? And whats a png?
