Sorry for the long wait - I was hoping that the official guys would finally come back to do this...oh well.

{meganium} Lv.32|@Bitter Berry
~Razor Leaf
~Body Slam
~Reflect
~Synthesis
He could sunnybeam - sunny day, solar beam, synthesis, so there is more power. For the fourth move, Earthquake is best, but bodyslam is okay for paralysis.

{feraligatr} Lv.30|@PsnCureBerry
~Hydro Pump
~Surf
~Bite
~Cut
As a rater yourself, you should have said no to Hydro Pump. And you know that Crunch is almost always better than bite. Surf, Crunch. Ice beam is best, but ice punch is okay, too. Rest @Mint, or Attract @leftovers.

{onix} Lv.23|@Bitter Berry
~Rock Throw
~Screech
~Harden
~Tackle
Get a rhydon. Or a golem. Or evolve this. Sorry, but I can't rate it - just too horrible. Sorry. :(

{machop} Lv.21|@Quick Claw
~Low Kick
~Karate Chop
~Seismic Toss
~Rock Smash
Cross Chop, Rock Slide (RBY), and Earthquake is definate. FireBlast can Be used for skarmory/Forretress. Aside from that, breed for meditate. Or use rest

{sudowoodo} Lv.20|@Ice Berry
~Rock Throw
~Strength
~Low Kick
~Flail
Rock Slide, Curse, EQ, Umm...Lowkick is okay. Or mimic.

{togepi} Lv.16|@Sharp Beak
~Growl
~Charm
~Metronome
Ask him to change.

You lack special sweeping - Lapras, Alakazam are good contenders.

What horrid rules :(

My team isn't to this point yet but I plan on using:

Jolteon:
-Thunder Wave
-Roar
-Thunder
-HP
Not a starter. At least, not without baton pass. Anyway, unless thunder dancing, no thunder. But then again, you lack a good electric move :(

Forretress:
-Spikes
-Rapid Spin
-Sandstorm
-Explosion
Not sandstorm - HP Bug/EQ is better.

Heracross:
-Megahorn
-Rock Slide
-Endure
-Reversal
Good. I think.

Kingdra:
-Blizzard
-Surf
-Attract
-Dragonbreath
Icy wind - blizzard never hits. Rain Dance is good, too.

Umbreon
-Moonlight
-Toxic
-Confuse Ray
-Mean Look
Rest >Moonlight you need to last.

Snorlax
-Curse
-Return
-Rest
-Earthquake
Standard

Jolteon's my starter and with Roar and Thunder Wave I was thinking about him being a pseudo-hazer/shuffler that can use Thunder if needed (can't get Thunderbolt since there's no crystal).
Forretress is an obvious spiker, Heracross is my physical sweeper with Endure/Reversal, Kingdra is a special sweeper, Umbreon is a tank/Mean Look/Toxic pokemon, Snorlax is an offensive tank of sorts.

That being said, what changes should I make?

I was considering replacing Heracross with Tauros or Machamp because of Tauros' speed and normal type and Machamp's Cross Chop...Tauros doesn't have a fighting move that I need to take out Blisseys and Snorlaxes and Miltanks and such.

Kingdra is another one that doesn't look as good as I thought it would. Should I replace it with something like a Houndoom (Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Solarbeam, Pursuit) or a Starmie (Confuse Ray, Surf, Recover, Thunder Wave)...or possibly an Alakazam with Psychic and Thunder/Ice/Firepunch as a fast special sweeper.
Get 'zam and Houndoom.

Umbreon is solid, but Snorlax is questionable...Do I need a Blissey or Miltank thing going on in my party?
Both are good, as heal bell is useful.

If you can think of anything else, please let me know. Thank you!
Vaporeon > Kindra. Or lapras > Kingdra - both are good ideas. Pseudo hazers instead of jolteon are: Steelix (could be used instead of forretress, but you need spikes), Suicune (no need for 2 waters, though),

Look at my party, modified to your rules:
{electabuzz}
Thunderbolt - Ice Punch - Cross Chop/Psyhcic/Fire Punch/T-wave - Psyhcic/Fire Punch/T-wave

{lapras}
Surf - Ice Beam - Rest -Sing/ConfuseRay/DragonBreath

{snorlax)
Curse - Rest - Return/BodySlam - Shadow Ball/Earthquake

{forretress} -what i reccomended.

{machamp}
Cross Chop - Earthquake - HP Rock - Fire Blast
or
{heracross}
Endure - Reversal - Megahorn - Attract (No rock slide, evn with crystal)

{umbreon}
Curse/Toxic - Mean Look - Baton Pass/Confuse Ray - Confuse Ray/Rest/Double Team
Explanation - Curse to be with baton pass, and you pass to machamp (more attcak), or lapras (defense). The last movefor safe passage. Mean Look is optional, but used to prevent switches to roar/haze. Mean Look, Toxic, Curse, Rest is also an option. Moonlight has bad pp, don't try it.

This team lacks a healer, but it isn't completely necessary. You have status, Sweeping, tanking (curselax, umbreon, lapras, foretress), and overall stability. A fighting weakness is there, so be careful - Lapras/Electabuzz thus get psychic. My team isn't the best, but it could work.

I still need a solid starter...I don't really know what to use though.

I'm kinda torn on the physical sweeper thing because Tauros has great stats but has the fighting weakness and no way to cover it...but Machamp is slow and Heracross has a 4x flying weakness...

Alakazam vs. Houndoom is another issue. I'm not really sure what to do.

I would love some help on this INGAME gold team. Key word there, I don't need this to dominate. Im not interested in doing any breeding, except for the last slot that I havn't determined yet. Can't really catch any legendaries yet.

{lickitung}@Leftovers
Shadow Ball
Return
Rest
Sleep Talk

{jynx}
Psychic
Ice Beam
Lovely Kiss
Attract/?

{politoed}
Surf
Body Slam
Hypnosis
Belly Drum

Or

{politoed}
Ice Beam
Psychic
Surf
Hypnosis

{gligar}
Earthquake
Sludge Bomb
Screech
Slash

{magmar}
Flamethrower
Confuse Ray
Thunderpunch
Psychic/Dynamicpunch/?

I need a sixth pokemon to round out team. I was thinking of a strong Electric or Grass type. I really wanted to use Victreebel, but without Slude Bomb, and no breeding for Wing Attack, Gliger gets crap moves, and Victreebel really needs Sludge Bomb. Sunflora I kind of like, but it has a terrible movepool. Raikou would be neat, and I might end up putting him in that spot, but I can't really catch him at this point.

Edit: I think this team is majorely weak to Water types, hence the grass/electric. Item suggestions would be nice aswell.

Thanks for your help.

Rock Slide or Rock Throw. I like Earthquake, and Roar > SandStorm and Rock Throw.

Curse, Recover, EQ/Shadow Ball, and Aeroblast. Or wing attack.

{ho-oh} @EXP.Share
~Sunny Day
~Solar Beam
~Fire Blast/Sacred Fire
~Thunder Bolt
T-bolt, Earthquake, Recover, and flamethrower/Sacred fire

You see what I mean?
Not really - skarmory and forretress were big back in GSC. And, you didn't have EVs, so mixed sweeping was a greater possibilty. I meant if it was competitive. Meditate is to boost attack, seeing as he doesn't get curse. Rock Slide was a tradeback, and the defenses were enough for minty rest.

imetapod:
Good starters, for gsc, usually lay down some status. Like electrode (t-wave, swagger, reflect, explosion). Or lanturn, with c-ray, t-wave, attract, etc. Don't use lapras - best to bring in on hard hits (yes, tempting, so you can sig, confuse, and paralyze with body slam/freeze with confuse ray).

Physical sweepers - you want one that gets good physical moves - like dodrio (drill peck, wing attack, steel wing/tri-attack, hp ground/fighting), or machamp (Cross Chop, EQ, Rock Slide), or T-tar (EQ, Rock Slide, Return, screech), or donphan (EQ, HP Rock/Ancient Power, Rapid Spin, Roar/Rest), or aerodactyl (Return, EQ, Ancient Power/HP Rock, Wing Attack/HP Flying [i prefer hp rock and wing attack]). Tauros has problems with movepool - Return, EQ, Curse?, ???. Golem Can have EQ, Rock Slide, Curse, and Explosion.

Alakazam vs. Houndoom - Alakazam gets psychic, and the punches. Oh, and recover. Houndoom, however, gets crunch (for all of the psychics), Flamethrower (lower super effective range than ice), Solar beam (so he can sunny beam), Sludge bomb, for poison (though burn > poison), and shadow ball to stay physical (gets reversal, but the slow speed doesn't really helpend-revving).

You must also remember - there are other psychics that can do better -
~Starmie gets 2 stab moves, Recover, t-bolt, and ice beam. It doesn't get fire moves, but thats a trade-off.
~Slowbro gets good defenses (alakazam dies to anything, while this isn't too worried about the hits), stab on surf, gets ice beam and flamethrower (no t-bolt). No recover, but still - decent hp (base 95 rocks!), good defense (something few psychics can say), and good special defense.
~Slowking - see slowbro - but with the def and sp. def switched.thus making it a mainstream psychic.
~Hypno was designed to be defensive. But it lacks recover, and good defenses. What does that leave it? A bad slowbro. And, (just to bash it), its worse than zam in other ways - no extra usable moves (Smog - 55% accuracy). It makes a good toxi-tank but again - no real defenses, no trapping (umbreon), no recovery. So, it just sucks :(
~Jynx is cool. Psychic, Ice Beam, Perish-traping, Sleep move to attack at will. But, thats it. Use Starmie, slowbro, or alakazam instead. Unless you like an accurate sleep move (it won't survive to put it to sleep - ranks second to last in defense department).
~Mr. Mime - no.

Sleep Talk
It looks good - you could have curse > sleep talk, for more of a tank.

{jynx}
Psychic
Ice Beam
Lovely Kiss
Attract/?
Bubblebeam for rocks, attract is okay, mean look to make sure they don't switch out when asleep.

{politoed}
Surf
Body Slam
Hypnosis
Belly Drum
The physical one is poliwrath. Politoed is special. Surf, Ice beam, Psychic, Hypnosis/Haze/Rest

{gligar}
Earthquake
Sludge Bomb
Screech
Slash
Wing Attack > Slash. Please breed.

{magmar}
Flamethrower
Confuse Ray
Thunderpunch
Psychic/Dynamicpunch/?
Cross Chop in the last place to deal with rocks, if you want.

I need a sixth pokemon to round out team. I was thinking of a strong Electric or Grass type. Lapras > Jynx (Surf, Ice Beam, T-bolt/Psychic, Sing/C-ray/Rest), and Electabuzz in the last spot (T-bolt, Ice Punch, Psychic, CrossChop/Filler). You don't have really a type-weakness, but a single pokemon weakness - Machamp. Survives the psychic from jynx, and KOs with rock slide. Brick Break on lickitung, EQ on Magmar/Electabuzz, and Rock Slide again for gligar. Okay, maybe two pokemon. But still - you are weak in defenses.

Thanks for your help.

Alright here goes...

Same rules as my last post:

Gold/Silver only (no Crystal trades, which means no Move Tutor)
No RBY trades
No legendaries
No held items
No cheats.

My team (the first 3 are definites, but i have no specialized starter)

Heracross:
-Megahorn
-Earthquake
-Endure
-Reversal

Can Heracross pull off End/Rev well enough to compensate for its flying weakness and the fact that it isn't Machamp?

Umbreon:
-Mean Look
-Toxic
-Rest
-Confuse Ray

Forretress:
-Spikes
-Explosion
-Rapid Spin
-???(what else should i put here?)

Those 3 are definites, but the movesets are not.
The rest of my planned team:

Alakazam: or Starmie:
-Psychic -Surf
-Fire Punch -Psychic
-Ice Punch -Ice Beam?
-Thunderpunch -Recover

Miltank: or Blissey:
-Heal Bell -Heal Bell
-Milk Drink -Softboiled
-??? -Minimize
-??? -Ice Beam?

Aerodactyl (can i get him with my rules?)
-Return
-HP Rock?
-Wing Attack
-Earthquake
Can Aerodactyl make a good starter as a physical sweeper with my team the way it is?

or
Electrode
-Thunder Wave
-Reflect
-Explosion
-Swagger?
If I use electrode with swagger, would it be a good idea to have a ghost in my lineup?

I don't have a starter that I have any faith in. Electrode has no staying power and can get OHKO'd pretty easily. Could my starter be a shuffler as well? (roar/whirlwind + some type of status)
What are my major weaknesses?
Should I swap out Blissey/Miltank for Snorlax?

I know I'm asking an awful lot of questions...but thank you very much if you take the time to respond.

Sure it can. Machamp isn't even as good, because it loses rock slide. When you expect a flying move, simply endure.

Umbreon:
-Mean Look
-Toxic
-Rest
-Confuse Ray
Looks good.

Forretress:
-Spikes
-Explosion
-Rapid Spin
-???(what else should i put here?)
Rollout, pin missile, return. No other moves to take advantage of (except HP Bug).

Those 3 are definites, but the movesets are not.
The rest of my planned team:

Alakazam: or Starmie:
-Psychic -Surf
-Fire Punch -Psychic
-Ice Punch -Ice Beam?
-Thunderpunch -Recover
Alakazam needs recover. Starmie doesn't get ice beam (sorry - crystal tutor/rby tm).

Miltank: or Blissey:
-Heal Bell -Heal Bell
-Milk Drink -Softboiled
-??? -Minimize
-??? -Ice Beam?
T-wave and seismic toss would have been lovely. And, Ice beam is a good idea, but no trades, remember? :(. For miltank, Return and shadow ball are options.

Aerodactyl (can i get him with my rules?)
-Return
-HP Rock?
-Wing Attack
-Earthquake
Can Aerodactyl make a good starter as a physical sweeper with my team the way it is?
It could. It could also switch in to non-stabed moves. Trade for chansey.

or
Electrode
-Thunder Wave
-Reflect
-Explosion
-Swagger?
If I use electrode with swagger, would it be a good idea to have a ghost in my lineup?
Can't get T-wave - RBY only, sorry. Misdreavous or gengar is an idea, though. If you want something similar to this, though, go for raichu (no speed, but sweet kiss, t-wave, attract is good).

The psedo hazer should come in on 2 conditions:
1.) Spikes are layed out
2.) They are powering up. ALOT.

Suicune would have been a good idea. But...Steelix is good (though you don't need 2 physical walls). No other good ones, really - sorry. Most are too frail in the defenses, or have been banned (suicune, raikou, lugia).

I know I'm asking an awful lot of questions...but thank you very much if you take the time to respond.

All right. I just got interested into the GSC generations again (cuz my leafgreen isn't really being nice to me). So I fired up my Gold Version and created this team. If any pokemon are told to have Ice Beam, choose Ice Punch if possible.

{lugia} LV:71

Item:None

-Psychic
-Thunder (I can't really get Thunderbolt)
-Earthquake
-Recover

{snorlax} LV:61

Item:Leftovers

-Body Slam
-Shadow Ball
-Earthquake
-Rest

Peanut-Lover, if you rate this team, this is the moveset I gave my LeafGreen Snorlax.

{tyranitar} LV:62

Item:None

-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Fire Punch (Couldn't think of a better move :) )

{dragonite} LV:62

Item:Amulet Coin

-Dragonbreath
-Waterfall (this move is becoming Hyper Beam unless someone gives me a good physical attk.)
-Thunderbolt (had access to Crystal version 4 a time)
-Blizzard

{charizard} shiny LV:62

Item:None

-Flamethrower
-Dragonbreath
-Toxic
-Earthquake

{feraligatr} LV:62

Item: Leftovers

-Surf
-Ice Punch (I am not changing this at all!)
-Toxic
-Earthquake

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really want to know how this team rates, because I am bored and want to get into competitive battling with this team.

ok i think i finally have my lineup figured out...refer to the rules i mentioned in my previous post.

{alakazam} -Fire Punch
-Ice Punch
-Thunder Punch
-Psychic

{heracross} -Endure
-Reversal
-Megahorn
-Earthquake

{umbreon} -Mean Look
-Toxic
-Rest
-Confuse Ray

{forretress} -Spikes
-Explosion
-Rapid Spin
-Rollout

{aerodactyl} -Roar
-Ancientpower
-Wing Attack
-Return

{lapras} -Rest
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Confuse Ray

The strategy is to start with Alakazam and sweep right off the bat to catch them off guard. When I'm able to, I'll lay out spikes as soon as i can, then have Aerodactyl come in and use Roar until they can stop me or i run out (to inflict damage from spikes).

Alakazam doesn't have recover because its flimsy defense doesn't really give it much longevity anyway and a turn spent recovering is a turn not spent special sweeping. Besides, I need all those moves.

I need Lapras for surf, but is my team too flimsy tank-wise? Umbreon's all I have except for lapras to an extent...should I be worried about working powerups into my movesets?

wow...I am long overdue for rates. I got a notification, said I'd get to it later, and forgot :o then when i came here, because i haven't visited in about a month, i saw this! No quoting, just comments (makes it quicker):

Zdude (if you are still here):
 Lugia is a defensive pokemon, and thus recover is a good idea. Curse is god, so it boosts the defense. Seeing as the attack is also boosted, Earthquake is also good, as is shadow ball or wing attack
 Snorlax is a special wall, but rather fragile. Curse, Rest, Return/Body slam, Shadow Ball/eq. Your set is fine, if you wish to leave it, though curse is sort of needed. good for frlg as well
 T-tar unfortunately doesn't get good ratings. T-bolt/Flamethrower through a crystal tutor, or hp flying is usually good (though hp flying is preffered). Rest or sandstorm are sort of defensive.
 Dragonite is cool, ice beam > blizzard, and wing attack/return > hyper beam.
 Charizard should be physical - Swords Dance/Belly Drum (RBY trade is better), EQ/Wing attack, Rock Slide/Wing Attack, Flamethrower/Fire Blast . @Leftovers
 feraligatr is good pokemon - Crunch > EQ (Breed), and ICe Beam > Ice punch if you can. Better yet, if not too deadset on ice punch, breed for crunch and rock slide (larvitar family) > Ice Punch and Toxic (so it would be surf, crunch/screech, eq, rock slide).

killermagikarp -
Dragonair should evolve in 7 levels. DragonBreath > Twister, T-bolt > Zap cannon, Ice Beam, and Wing attack/Earthquake.

Lugia - see Zdude's rate

Typhlosion - EQ > Dig. Rest @mint berry , or Sunny Day @LEftovers instead of fire punch. Seriously, will you even use fire punch with the superior flamethrower?

Venusaur - Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Razor Leaf, and Earthquake. Very tanky, a bit defensive. Recovery, staus, damage.

Pidgeot is completely outclassed by dodrio in stats and movepool. It may have better defenses, but it has lower speed, and lower attack. It will have to get hit 3 times just to do what dodrio can do by being hit only once.
Dodrio - hit, get hit, then hit
Pidgeot - Get hit, hit, get hit, hit, get hit, hit, get hit, die. And the third "hit" isn't even a guarantee, as the defenses aren't that much better.
Anyway, Return, Steel Wing, Wing Attack, quick attack. But dodrio gets the superior 80 power flying move (drill peck), and a status move (tri-attack)

Wobuffet is ok. You can't really change it :S

imetapod - status should be in front, but whatever.
Alakazam needs recover, but if you're sure no recover, this is fine.
Forretress should be good, though you don't want to lok yourself into a move for 5 turns. Return may do better
EQ > Return for aerodactyl.
I think lapras is ok. This is as good as it can be with your rules.

typhlosion-charcoal {typhlosion}
lv50
fire spin
ember
quik attak
swift
Flamethrower, Earthquake, thunderpunch, sunny day /rest @mint berry. Can use both sunny day and rest instead of eq.

lugia-none {lugia}
lv48
aeroblast
shadow ball
gust
recover
curse tm > gust.

golduck-none {golduck}
lv45
surf
confusion
psych up
scratch
Surf, Ice Beam, Psychic, Psych Up/Cross Chop/Rain Dance.

piloswine-none {piloswine}
lv45
powder snow
icy wind
take down
fury attak
Earthquake, Ice Beam, Ancient Power/Rock Slide, Curse/Roar.

thats all i hav now but im gonna get ampharos {ampharos}
Yes - T-bolt, T-wave, Fire Punch, Reflect/Light Screen
i was thinkin about dragonite {dragonite}
Yes - Ice Beam, T-bolt, Wing Attack, Return/Douoble Edge.
or im gonna get a psychic and i was thinkin hypno {hypno}
Alakazam way better
but if there are any other psychic or dark or ghost that r better tell me
Gengar is good, as is lapras (lapras > golduck, in my opinion). No good dark types until kanto (t-tar and houndoom). Jynx is worthwhile, with a fast dependable sleep move.

Is this silver version (aeroblast lugia, ampharos)? Can you trade with crystal? How about RBY and the stadiums? In-game, defeating the elite 4 usually means high levels, though the type advantages ease it. Don't get yourself too crazy. Did you catch a dog yet? Raikou and suicune are useful in the elite 4. ALOT.

Quick note about amphy: Rain Dance + Thunder is good. Just keep it far away from sunny day typhlosion.

the davebabe wrote:
here's what im trying to create, no oobers apart from tyranitar or dragonite, but i dunno if they are or not
The ubers are: Mewtwo, Mew, Ho-oh, Lugia, and Celebi. T-tar, Dragonite, and the trios are not uber).

Alakazam
- Recover
- Psychic
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
T-punch > Fire Punch. Electric + Ice = 1 resist (magneton). @Leftovers.

Umbreon
- Baton Pass
- Mean Look
- Toxic
- Confuse Ray
Good. @Leftovers.

Snorlax
- Rest
- Curse
- Snore
- Body Slam/Earthquake/Shadow Ball

i have snore so he deals damage while hes sleeping, with curse it can be quite a bit. though not sure wat to use as an offensive move
So you lose 2 turns - big deal. The power from return and body slam is muchhigher. EQ or shadow ball in the last spot.
So, its curse, rest, EQ/Shadow Ball, and Body Slam/Return.

Aerodactyl
- Wing Attack
- Ancientpower
- Earthquake
- Steel Wing/Iron Tail

steel wing or iron tail?
Neither - Return instead. Higher power :)

Tyranitar
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Crunch

roar to get rid of what nails him
Won't survive, usually. Test your hidfen poweer - if its flying, go with it. Otherwise, Return/Screech I guess - he's very limited in gsc.

Houndoom
- Sunny Day
- Flamethrower
- Crunch
- Solarbeam
Change and you will regret.

not sure who to use as a starter
any suggestions for anything else id need?
Status inflicters usually lead. Like lanturn, or electrode. But umbreon is ok. may want to look into rest > baton pass, simply because passing a mean look does nothing :( . You lack good solid defense on physical side (sorry, curselax doesn't cut it). Go with forretress, or rhydon, or skarmory, golem even is good.

ok, so after what you've said, i've modified a few things.

ill start with {umbreon} at rest.

{snorlax} will be:
- rest
- curse
- body slam
- EQ

{aerodactyl} will be the same, with either agility or return.

i'll bring in {skarmory} at:
- drill peck
- steel wing
- whirlwind
- toxic

toxi-shuffler as well as phys. sponge.

the last two spots, however, are open.

i have my 2 spec sweepers, {houndoom} and {alakazam}

plus a couple of mixed.

{charizard}
- swords dance
- wing attack
- EQ
- flamethrower

or,

{dragonite} @ bitter berry
- t-wave
- wing attack
- outrage
- ice beam/return?

ps. what do you mean by this?

Good, except for whirlwind - can't have both whirlwind and drill peck, as both are through breeding. Go with roar > whirlwind, instead.

the last two spots, however, are open.

Anyway, I'd like Lapras in there. Surf, T-bolt, Ice Beam, Sing/Confuse ray/rest.

Alakazam or Lapras, and Houndoom will be good for tghe sweeper

ps. what do you mean by this?

for skarmory, whirlwind and drill peck are both egg moves tho?

i have a father fearow with both drill peck and whirlwind, once i get a female skarmory off my friends crystal, ill breed, so wont the baby have both, seein as ther both egg moves?

with lapras i might hav sing AND rest... that'd be nasty, and i alreddy have a special sweeper with houndoom and a phys. sweeper with aero.

but if i do that, what move will i have out of ice beam and t-bolt?

t bolt will be solid agains any water types, and i dont have much covering that atm, with only houndooms solrabeam. however much of ice beams advantages are alreddy covered and thunderbolt will help to aid that.

am i right?

I investigated - Whirlwind is an RBY tm, and thus legal

Lapras @Leftovers
~Sing
~Rest
~T-bolt
~Ice Beam

T-bolt hits water and flyers.
Ice hits some flyers harder (dragonite, zapdos) than t-bolt. In addition, it hits grasses.

v1swanton -
{typhlosion}, {ampharos} , {lapras}, {jynx} , {alakazam}, {lugia}

OR

{ampharos} , {lapras}, {jynx} , {alakazam}, {lugia}, {dragonite}

hey, something else to be rated.
movesets for the 3 legendary birds =

{articuno}
~ Rest
~ Agility
~ Whirlwind
~ Ice Beam

{zapdos}
~ Thunderbolt
~ Thunder-wave
~ Drill Peck
~ Light Screen

{moltres}
~ Substitute
~ Sky Attack
~ Flamethrower
~ Reflect

hehe moltres, instead of a sub-puncher, a sub-attacker.

what do u think?

should'nt you get stronger moves for the 3 legendary birds?? Like blizzard for {articuno}, thunder for {zapdos} and fire blast for {moltres}. Just wondering. But the attack choice is pretty good.

Personally, i don;t really think stat change moves like growl or agility are really useful. My pokemon all only have offensive moves.( like moves that do damage)

hahaha. blizzard thunder and fire blast you say...

they have low pp and low accuracy. id much rather 100% accuracy and more pp subsituting just a little less power.

Roar
Headbutt

Raichu @ Magnet
Thunderbolt
Thunderwave
Headbutt
Protect

Donphan @ Quick Claw
Earthquake
Rollout
Strenghth
Sandstorm

Starmie @ Brightpowder
Surf
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Recover

Poliwrath @ Mystic Water
Surf

Mind Reader

I had a lot of success, lemme know how to improve them.

an Electric weakness, 4x weakness to rock, weakness to steel and fire. lack of actual defense. Won't survive for whirlwind. Reflect instead. Tempted to say replace agility with sleep talk - yes, do that.

{zapdos}
~ Thunderbolt
~ Thunder-wave
~ Drill Peck
~ Light Screen
Looks good.

{moltres}
~ Substitute
~ Sky Attack
~ Flamethrower
~ Reflect

hehe moltres, instead of a sub-puncher, a sub-attacker.
Looks about right. Might be better with 60 power wing attack instead of sky attack. So that you might hit more. Hard to explain, but yeah...

what do u think?
Couldn't you choose the better trio - Suicune, Raikou, Entei?

stormidiot - Thunder and Blizzard are both inaccurate and low on pp. Fire Blast is a different story. Though, Thunder-dancing is indeed an option, it is bad without HP Water.

norris14 wrote:

Milktank @ Leftovers
Body Slam
Heal Bell
Milk Drink
Rollout
If not using defense curl, do not even attept to use rollout. Shadow ball instead. Maybe consider Return instead of Body Slam, for power?

Houndoom @ Focus Band
Crunch
Flamethrower
Roar
Headbutt
@Leftovers, again - it is the most reliable item in the game. Anyway, Sunny Day > Roar, Solar Beam > Headbutt. The Special Attack is massive. You should use special moves. The defenses aren't enough to use roar.

Raichu @ Magnet
Thunderbolt
Thunderwave
Headbutt
Protect
Let me tell you this - Pikachu is in some ways better.

{pikachu} @ LIGHTBALL
~Thunder/Thunderbolt
~Rain Dance/Thunderwave
~Surf/Hidden Power (Water) Hidden Power (Ice/Grass)/Attract/Sweet Kiss
~Hidden Power (Ice/Grass)/Attract/Sweet Kiss

Surf through stadium2, Thunder-dancing is easy enough, and throw in annoyance or a hidden power if you get lucky. If no Surf, T-bolt, T-wave, HP Ice/Grass, and Sweet Kiss is the best option.

Now, lets look back at Raichu, if you do want to use it:
{raichu} @Leftovers
~T-bolt
~T-wave
~Attract
~Sweet Kiss

(Lanturn does this better) An annoyer. You could go for sets similar to above, with lightball pikachu, but not as muc power (better staying time)

Donphan @ Quick Claw
Earthquake
Rollout
Strenghth
Sandstorm
Body Slam/Return > Strength (Paralysis or power), Defense Curl/Curse > Sandstorm, or everyone else suffers. Defense curl won't lower speed, but it won't raise the powerEarthquake.

Starmie @ Brightpowder
Surf
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Recover
@Leftovers. good with the moves.

Poliwrath @ Mystic Water
Surf
Submission
Mind Reader
Fissure
Whirlpool > Submission, so they stay. Ice Beam > Surf, so you hit flyers. @Leftovers.

I had a lot of success, lemme know how to improve them.
