Metal fans

I would like to see who else enjoys listening to this particular genre of music, and if you do what brought you into the metal "scene" so to speak. _________________ ~that is not dead which can eternal lie, but as strange eons pass even death may die~

Tom Gym Leader Joined: Wed Aug 04, 2004 6:14 am Posts: 273 Location: United Kingdom	I like Alice Cooper, Deep Purple and some Motorhead and Black Sabbath - which are occasionally referred to as metal. But I'm not a fan of Metallica, Slayer or these modern heavy bands such as Slipknot.

I like Black Sabbath, which pretty much created metal, but other than that I prefer Hard Rock. That doesn't mean that I don't like to listen to other metal though. In fact metal, imo, is the funnest type of metal to play on guitar and I am currently working on getting together a metal band. _________________

I started listening to bands like Stereophonics and Travis etc. then i started listening to bands from the 70's 80's era such as metallica, maiden, def leopard, aha, van halen etc. now i listen to all screamo hardcore bands such as killswitch engage, mendeed, atreyu, bleeding through etc. but i still love to listen to the 70's 80's music . dont really listen to stereophonics and travis and such anymore .
