Not bashing or anything, but what is the purpose of these forums? Why does anyone need them? They are the same exact thing as Psypokes.com or even lolstop's forums and pe2k.com's forums. What I'm saying is that there are enough of pokemon boards. This is just another one on the long list. See what I mean? Sorry if this is unnecessary, but I was just wondering.

no, i made it all by myself, no help from Jir. Though i did occasionally ask for help, but i would always find out how to do it myself.

I had a look on some of the threads, but, its just looks a bit empty, though I'm guessing this is because it is new. So anyway, I'm just wondering, are the people in it active?

True. I may consider joining, though I think I will be tempted to wait for it to have more members, before joining. Just so you know, I'm quite picky.

i don't know why there are so few members. its a great website, but people can't be bothered joining 'cos there's 'not enough people. HELLO? there's only gonna be more people if U join.

Everyone should join pokelightning. It's a great site, and I've been hearing about how much simpler it is. And don't say anything about not joining because there aren't many people. I have a great way to fix this problem. Join. Then tell your friends about it. Then pokelightning will grow, and it'll be very successful.

I mean, I've had a fair amount of forums to last me a good lifetime, but none were successful enough. But since I've learnt from this, I don't see the point in ameteur forums now.

I can honestly say I didn't make the forums just to 'be admin' or whatever, just to 'feel powerful', I hoped they would become better and develop, etc. But most forums now, are just fan-sites to ban people they dislike and to feel majorly outrageous :B

But yeah, bottom line, they're just to show how many friends or followers you have, since you ask them to join, whereas on a good forum, such as Psypoke, people are recommended or choose to join. Look, over 2000 members last time I looked, most of my forums got over 20 if I was lucky, 5 active members.

But wtf is a COPPA form? And what it is used for? I live in Turkey, for that matter...

Its for kids that are under 13 years of age. It is really illegal if you don't have your parents sign that and your partake on the board . . .

You only have to get it signed if you live in the United States. Anywhere else is fine. Gnaaye doesn't even need a COPPA form, as he lives in Turkey.

Sorry for the late post, but I would like everyone t0 know that we have created teams for Pokelightning. No, we didn't "rip" them off psypokes. I know the admins are VERY protective over their stuff.
