Great! Now for the seven remaining to ready themselves. Yeah, I know waiting is boring and you would rather get down to the action now. Luckily, there's plenty of other interesting stuff around Psypoke that you can check out while the rest prepare themselves.

Good choices. The Time Flute was completely unexpected - But then, I say any item, right? Remember that the Time Flute can be used only once, and as this is based on real time, it will disappear after the first use.

Cool. You're sure you would like to stick to four moves for each pokemon? Remember that you can go up to eight here.

The trainers duel in third-dimensional, real time mode. Each trainer has three pokemon, two of them are allowed to be legendary, and they fight in double battles. When the first pokemon faints, the third pokemon comes out. Moves can be used in a wide variety of ways (Psychic can deflect a projectile, Water Spout can turn a dusty field into mud, two pokemon can combine their attacks for a greater effect), pokemon will fight differently according to their natures, enviroment, and even their allies and opponents. That's the basics - You'll see it fully when the battles are underway.

Right here. I'm moderating the battles. Hey, do you have experience with refereeing battles? Because if you do, you can make your own real time online tournment!

I think that what nfield is saying is that it would start to create spammy posts, and this thing would take waaaaaaay too long.

We could do this on netbattle, its not that hard - stadium mode allows for 3v3, so, yeah.

What is Stadium Mode?
Edit: Everyone can use the forums. Not everyone can use Netbattle. I'll set the matches so that everyone is paired with the person in their closest time zone. That way we can avoid much of the drag and still have a lot of fun. :)

I'm set. How "Real-Time" is this going to be planned to be, though? I'm a busy college student, most of the time I can't spend the time on a forum waiting for someone else to post, so I can post and wait again...

Basically the pokemon move in real time. You can post a move, then return to your homework, studying, or whatever you do.

I think that's a great idea. It can run into problems if they have something they have to do, but otherwise it would work out well. We can also find out when each of us comes on, and set the matches according to the time zones.

We have our eight contestants, and the matches are complete!
Note: All battlefields are 500 feet in diameter. Two massive stone pillars rise above the battlefield, which is where the trainers stand when battling. (Let's assume that there's a hidden force that projects your voice, focuses your eyesight, and guides your pokeballs to their targets) Both pokemon start in the middle of the battlefield, but can move freely during combat. Each battlefield has it's own special surprises too that are not immediately apparent to the eye. Of course, they still are appropriate to the field itself.

Cellblock VS Mitch
Battlefield: Forest
The forest battlefield is a ring of trees surrounding a small dirt clearing about 30 feet wide, where the battle starts. Small ponds are scattered through the forest, rivers run through, hills rise at various points in the battlefield, and you may find an occasional grassland clearing. A fallen tree may offer you shelter, and you can find some relatively clear dirt hills.

Mutant_Mewtwo VS Peanut-Lover
Battlefield: Grassland
There are two lakes at either end of this battlefield, with a wide river attaching them. Hills and valleys are abundant, some tall trees are scattered around, rocks of various sizes litter the ground, and there are bushes that bear edible fruit. You start at a waist-high area of dense grass, with all different types of grasses around the battlefield.

JsXtm VS Abou222
Battlefield: Mountain
The entire field is covered by mountains of various sizes, ranging from 300 to 2,000 feet. A few areas are relatively flat, like the place you start at. Small plants grow on the mountain slopes, boulders can be found almost everywhere, and the taller mountains are snow-capped. You may find caves in the mountainous areas.

Gardevoir VS Pokespriter
Battlefield: Desert
You start in a flat area of white sand and rocks. Sand dunes of all types prevail in most of the field, and can range from 10 to 150 feet. Different types of desert exist in the battlefield, from Sahara type (Primarily sand dunes) to American Southwestern (Lots of desert plants, rocks, few sand dunes) to rocky (Barren rockscape with some sand) to wasteland. (Sun parched landscape with rocks) Rivers and ponds of oil run through the field.

Now that you know your battlefield and opponent.... Let's start! Basically, send out two pokemon and order both of their moves. (It does not necessarily have to be an attack) Once you and your opponent have ordered their moves, I will moderate the outcomes of each round. Good luck, and battle to your very best!

I send out Mewtwo and Groudon.

Groudon will use Earthquake, attempting to cause an avalanche/rock slide with the snow and boulders.

Mewtwo will use Ice Beam, aiming the stream of Ice particles at Rayquaza (if he gets sent out) or Slaking (otherwise)

JsXtm VS Abou222: As the pokemon are released, the first thing you notice is suddenly how still the air becomes. The battlefield, which was a few moments before breezy, became filled with an eerie silence and calm. Beyond the field, the sun bears down harshly, and the area outside the battlefield begins to heat up, yet the very stillness of the air seems to deflect some of the intense sunlight.

Groudon gazes upon Rayquaza with pure fury in his eyes. That trifling dragon was the only thing that stopped him from gaining surpremacy over the Earth. Realizing that his trainer would help him reach his ultimate goal, Groudon releases an intense earthquake upon the battlefield.

Mewtwo popped out, gave a cold gaze of comprehension into JsXtm's eyes, then looked into Rayquaza's eyes, that fool who dared to call himself a master. Mewtwo sensed Groudon's move, and to avoid harm levitated himself about a foot off the ground before launching a beam of intense cold at Rayquaza.

Rayquaza's senses, honed by millions of skyborne years and the necessity of watching over those two warriors of sea and land, made sure that he easily parried the Ice Beam when catapulting himself into the air. As Abou222 gives the order to attack, Rayquaza's eyes seem to sharpen as he dives at Groudon head on with his arms and fins tucked in for maximum mobility.

Jolteon beholds the three legendaries battling with a slightly distainful look in her eyes - Really, don't they have anything better to do? Of course, this does not stop Jolteon from creating a web of protective light around herself. Jolteon smiles slyly as the shockwaves head towards her, knowing that the move will offer full protection against the attack. (I assumed it was Jolteon, as you commanded her to attack, not Slaking.)

As Groudon releases his Earthquake, the entire field begins to shake, boulders fly off the ground, and Mewtwo levitates to dodge the shockwaves. Jolteon is completely protected, and Rayquaza is in the air, diving at Groudon. However, JsXtm's intentions seem to be quite successful - With the sheer power combined with his rage towards Rayquaza, Groudon's Earthquake destabilizes a snow capped mountain near the battlefield, sending the beginnings of an avalanche down upon them. (It'll take three rounds for the avalanche to reach the battlefield) Other rockslides occur around the battlefield, but none of these are directly in the path of the pokemon right now.

Ok Gardevoir~ lets try and make this fair and square.

Raichu use your thunder bolt on Ho-oh!
Sneasel use ice beam on flygon!

This should inflict some damage...
