I was battling with some in Pallet Town because I was bored, and pops up. I had forgotten he comes up in Leafgreen so I was really surprised, but I just paralyzed him with my lv 75 and he ran away. Well the chase continued till I just decided to drag out my with Mean look and keep him in the ring. I found him again, used mean look and got his Hp down to about 2 or so, then he used Roar and it ended. I was pretty pissed, but not as much as when I went to my pokedex to find where went and saw that it was 'AREA UNKOWN."

So, wtf? If he uses Roar does he not show up again? Cause I don't want to have wasted 5 days running after this thing. What to do...?

I'm absolutely sure. That last thing I remember is that It hurt itself in confusion, went down to super red health, and then used Roar. I saw my little guy move to the left and the battle ended, so he has to still be alive. I'm wondering if this is some sort of glitch.

Your never seeing it again sorry. If Entie or Raikou ever use roar you can't ever see them again. You don't worry about this with suicune cause suicune doesn't have roar. That's why you should use a master ball on those 2.

LIES!! When I got Raikou on my Leaf Green It had used Roar on me several times and it never just vanished into thin air!

And by the way, there's no reason you shouldn't use your Master Ball on Suicune/Raikou/Entei. None of the other pokemon in LG/FR are uncatchable with Ultra Balls; they just may require several tries. The ledgendary dog, on the other hand, is difficult enough to catch (because it runs away) that the Master Ball is the simplest solution. Seriously, if you can't catch the other ledgendaries without the help of a Master Ball, you need to learn how to catch high-leveled pokemon better.
