i need help i have some weak poekmon and i dont kno where to train them i can go anywhere before the cinnabar island part i am almost done with silph co. then i am going to go to cinnabar and i also dont kno wat pokemon i should use i am going to use

scyther lvl 37
wing attak pursuit false swipe slash

wartortle lvl 33
tackle water gun bubble bite

snorlax lvl 30 (just caught)
headbutt yawn rest snore

i have venasaur zapdos moltres articuno kabutops and aerodactyl i started over a few days ago and traded them so i could keep them

i can git any pokemon u suggest if it will help me plz help thanks

P.S.- Where do i git vs seeker i cant find it in the walkthrough and also exp share or all or watever it is called i always forgit

VS Seeker in vermillion, EXP Share (not ALL) is in the route 15 gate house.


Now, for the cinnabar gym - its fire types, so no scyther, articuno, or venusaur.

Wartortle is okay, zapdos is good, aerodactyl is good. You may want to train a psychic (not jynx or exeggcutor).

For wartortle - Surf HM is in the safaqri zone. USE IT!

You can fish Magikarps to train. Easiest way to train

EDIT: If you want a team-rate go to the Hoenn Section.

The best method to train your Pokemon is with the verses seeker.

To be exact, a lady in the Pokemon Center in Vermillion City gives it to you.

Now you can go re-fight trainers with the highest level Pokemon (to the right of Fuchsia City and below Lavender town for instance).

As an added bonus, you get a ton of money too.

One more thing...

While you may get a lot of experience fighting trainers later on in the game, I prefer training on routes 13-15 because of the sheer number of trainers.

Remember to equip the amulet coin and exp. share.
