Hey, in red and blue, I remember it being really really hard to beat the game. Especially the silph co. part, which took me a week most of the time to get through(without useing guides for warp tiles). I liked the challenge, though, since it was doable.
How's FR/LG compared to the older ones in difficulty?
Hey, does FR/LG have ALL 151 and the silver/gold pokemon or just the old ones, or are they split betweenthe two games somehow?

I really didin't consider any of them hard to beat...
About your question, I think FR and LG have the first 150, but some of the pokemon from G/S/C are only in Colloseum...

Never played RBY before but heard abt it. Heard about Missingno too. Anyway there IS a split in the FRLG game. Even the Johto pokemon that you can catch are different.

FireRed

&

&

&

&

&

LeafGreen

&

&

&

&

And others that I cannot think of off the cuff. Also, some Johto pokemon like Miltank and Smeargle are found only in Colosseum.

Talking about missingno my cousin traded his to my Gold and it turned into Ho-oh! freaky. FR&LG has more features, it's a feature packed game, R&B had the basics of Pokemon games, it was the best, gotta love the classics...

Given my experience from R/B/Y, Leafgreen, and Firered were easy. As stated already before, none of them were actually difficult.
Wait...I don't have Firered....

R/B is a bit more difficult than lg/fr but I think R/S are the most complicated.
