If you haven't seen, Psypoke has all the new sprites up on the game sprite pages, which includes ALL the Pokemon.

What do you guys think of the new look sprites for all the existing Pokemon? I
I personally think they're amazing. Game Freak has really outdone itself. Some of the Pokemon look so lively and animated, they're really cool!

My favourites are Charmeleon, Pikachu, Vulpix, Machop (he looks just like he's about to make a farting noise with his armpit!) Electabuzz, Eevee and all its evos, Zapdos, Mareep, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Mightyena, Swellow, the Ralt family, Roselia, Flygon, Cacturne, Milotic, Tropius, Absol, Groudon and Rayquaza.

How about you guys?

There are slight differences in all sprites with a gender. (Not Magneton, Zapdos etc) Like Sc1z0r Image has a longer body than the Image one.

The final Turtle starter is poorly shaded, it looks fake. I hope it isn't actually like that in the game. Either that or the background and effects will contrast it.

Is it me or are the trainer sprites bigger? Crazy.

I think the older pokemon look more lively than the new ones for some reason

perhaps because we've seen them before.

Dotaitos, the final turtle starter DOES look poorly shaded, yes
:/

life goes on though

I LOVE THE EXISTING Pokemon SPRITES.

Like Electabuzz's. Both frames are good. pe2k has 2 frames of sprites. So cool.

My peeve is that some are HUGE and cant be fusionned with most others easily. Like Salamence and Milotic.

The new pokes? Bleh to em all.

No there aren't. I have all of the sprites on my HD, and a lot of the Pokemon have no differences between male and female. As in, not one of the sprites change.

Here's some examples of ones that do change:
Female Pikachu:
Image
Male Pikachu:
Image
The female has a notch in its tail, while the male doesn't.

For a more dramatic difference, a female Hipopotasu:

And a male:

And now, for Pokemon with no difference...a female Enperuto:

And male:

Female Lickitung:

Male:

Seriously, those above two pairs are different pictures. Don't think I just posted the same picture twice. Check the filenames. But anyway, it's only some of the Pokemon that have any sort of gender difference, not all like you seem to think.

I was inpressed by some of the sprites, but disappointed with others. For example, Flygon's second P/D sprite.

But, now Swellow looks awesome. :)

I like the new sprites for Pikachu, but why do all of the Pokemon have 2 different poses?

1st frame and 2nd frame of animation.

So there are two different sprites. (Well on PE2K there are.)
Yeah. animation purposes.

You can see a difference on some sprites, but not on others. Not every Pokemon has gender dymorphism. And of course, not every Pokemon has both male and female forms.

I like a lot of them I especially like the charizard sprite, it looks a lot more like the anime Charizard than all the old sprites and I like the Kirlia alternate evo sprite, but i still don't know why Kirlia needs an evo other than Gardevoir...

Still the sprites all look great

Buuterfree's difference is on the ground. That wouldn't show up on a sprite that only shows the pokemon.

Most of them have the pose I don't like, that is turning their heads around or not directly looking at the opponent. But I like Kirlia's pose.

I love the new Milotic sprite! It's most wonderful, what with the curvy body and all. However, I think that the gender difference thing was a bit of a waste of time. Perhaps if their stats changed as well, for example a female Heracross might have better speed, whereas a male one would have better attack. And they could learn different attacks (not too dramatic, just like a female Raichu would learn Attract and a male one would learn Iron Tail, like on the anime...not that I watch the anime...)

Back on topic: I dont really like the new sprites. there are some exeptions i.e. spheal (way too cute), but there arent many. Nosepass looks ft

i like Rayquaza's and Pikachu's sprites the best cause they both look like they're attacking.

does anyone know why there are two different sprites for each pokemon? it's because THE POKEMON MOVE (like they did in crystal and emerald)! if you want proof, look at this video.

most likely, well, except for the single genders and the pokemon with alternate forms. but for the types of pokemon not listed, it wouldn't be fair, i mean, if there were only gender differences for some pokemon and not for others, what made the ones with them special?

and yet again, blast burn, don't double post!
