I have never seen a female one.....
But why aren't there male Jynxs and Smoochums then?
I know about the Japanese names and that's what I've always nicknamed my Mr Mimes. It's a better name
Still, that's not nice, a female one should be Mrs Mime...

It's just another of those things which are "lost in translation". Jynx is different; the game creators meant it to be a 100% female species in the first place, I guess.

Do you exist just to annoy the hell out of everyone?
Anywho, so that I don't SPAM, I too think that it is a bit daft that you can get Mrs. Mimes. I think that if I ever train s female one, I will call it that. I think that the prevolution looks female anyway.
I think that there should be an evolution for the Unown. They all evolve into the same one, but have different movesets according to what they were before.
And also, I love that cute electric cat thing. It looks so cuddly. And fierce. And electric. Hmm....

you can acquire almost all the pokemon (that's right, all 4 dexes) in the pokedex once you have national dex in d/p. Only the previous gen legendaries, starters and some others that are unaquirable in the d/p and have to be uploaded through palpark. But in my opinion that's amazing... If you don't take my word for it, search for the info on lolstop or other sources ^^

either spring, or 6/5/06, but that's not what we're talking about.
yeah, it's pretty amazing. some of you may be thinking "how do you get all those ledgendaries and starters to transfer?". well for me, I USED GAMESHARK, so im fine, for others, lots, and lots of time.

I know that I haven't been here, and I'm probably not going to talk about what you all are talking about, but I have made a few analyses:
106 New Pokemon:
Types (Including legendaries):
~14 are at least part Grass. 1 is legendary, 4 have relatives of earlier games. 4 are 4x weak to at least one thing.
~5 are at least part fire (3 of which are starters, 1 legendary, and buuburn)
~11 are at least part ground (1 starter, 3 dragon, 1 water, 1 ice, 1 flying, 2 pure, 1 part-time, 1 rock.)
~11 are at least part bug. Mitsuhoney has no battle use (only the honey), scorpi loses it, and most have evolutions.
~7 are at least part Dark. Darkrai is a legend. 2 are evolutions of previous pokemon. 3 are part poison (Dorpion's pre-evo, scorpi, is not dark). One is the new sableye.
~6 are at least part Dragon. 3 are legendary (Diaruga, Parukia, Giratina), and 3 are part ground, all of the same family.
~7 are at least part Electric. Elekible, a ghost, magneton evo, Pachirisu, and 3 pokemon that look like cats, sort of like manectrics.
~7 are at least part Fighting. 1 is the kirlia evo. 2 are part steel. 2 are fires. 2 are 4x weak to the now-dead-type, psychic.
~14 flyers. Mukuhawk is the strongest of all known Normal/Flying. 2 are ghosts. 4 are related to previous pokemon. 3 bugs, and 1 non-evolving normal type.
~8 new ghosts. 3 have family in previos games. 1 is legend. 5 have been talked about. 2 are pure ghost.
~6 are at least part Ice. 4 have relations to other versions. 3 are 4x weak to something.
~18 are at least part Normal. 2 legends, 1 of which changes. 7 have evolutions, or in Regigias' case, have something to do with these. Biidaru is part water.
~8 are at least part Poison.
~9 are at least part Psychic.
~7 are at least part Rock.
~11 are at least part Steel. All are dual.
~14 are at least part Water.

<DragonPhoenix> wow it kinda looks alright
:/
I have two problems with this:
1. This will only help prove how overrated the Gardevoir family really is.
2. I think that each generation should have an icon COMPLETELY unrelated to pokemon of any other generation.
Pokemon I would've chosen (no, I would NOT have chosen Manene, even if it weren't for rule number two, because I'd also rather there NOT be baby pokemon as icons for the generations):
Doomiraa
Dootakun
Wow. I just did I search for Psychic pokemon, and it seems there aren't a lot of new psychic types. In fact, those two are the only two non-legendary new psychic types that are not related to any pokemon of past generations.
Oh well, they still would've been better. :/

After some analysis, I have decided some things about the following:
: Buuburn
> Pokemon
---- Colors : 4/5 --- They definately didn't need that pink in there near the legs. Other than that, I like the colors. Fitting for a fire pokemon.
---- Appearance: 3/5 --- I hate the head! It looks nothing like the original magmar. What happened to the snout? The arms leave something to be desired.
---- Available Moves: 5/5 --- Thunderpunch? Awesome! lol!
---- Type: 3/5 --- We don't need another fire type.
---- Stats: 4/5 --- Another thing to be desired, but very good overall.
---- Ability (flame body): 5/5 --- Perfect for this fire pokemon.
---- Usefulness : 4/5 --- We really didn't need it, but that doesn't mean it isn't in some way cool.
* Overall --- 4/5 : An okay addition to the Pokemon universe, but I don't think it was really necessary.*
> Evolution
---- Method: 5/5 --- I love this new method of needing an item.
---- "Easiness": 4/5 --- What about those who can't trade?
* Overall --- 4/5: I like its evo method.
Final Score: 4/5 --- Nice
: Berobelt
> Pokemon
---- Colors : 4/5 --- I can only handle so much pink in a pokemon.
---- Appearance: 2/5 --- My Gosh! What did they do to that tongue? And to the head? The little swirly thing turns me off of this.
---- Available Moves: 3/5 --- Nothing special. Why does it learn power whip, which is a grass move?
---- Type: 3/5 --- Another normal type. Yipee!
---- Stats: 2/5 --- Pitiful stats.
---- Abilities (Own Tempo, Oblivious): 5/5 --- I love these abilities. I just hate being infatuated.
---- Usefulness: 2/5 --- I never liked Lickitung, and I really don't like this.
* Overall: 3/5 --- I won't being using this much*
> Evolution
---- Method: 1/5 --- I like the leveling up with a move, but they chose the wrong move. This could have happened earlier.
---- Easiness: 5/5 --- SOO EASY
* Overall: 3/5 --- It all ended with the wrong move*
Final Score: 3/5 --- Just sad
Yukimenoko
> Pokemon
---- Colors: 5/5 --- I love the mixture of the white, blue, and red
---- Appearance: 4/5 --- Kinda confuses me, but cool nonetheless
---- Type: 5/5 --- I love this new combo
---- Stats: 4/5 --- Pretty balanced
---- Ability (Snow Hide): 4/5 --- Interesting new ability
---- Usefulness: 5/5 --- I never really loved Galile (sp?), but I like Yuki (lol)
* Overall: 4/5 --- One of my new favorites
> Evolution
---- Method: 5/5 --- I love this way.
---- "Easiness": 5/5 --- Easy
* Overall --- 5/5: I like its evo method.
Final Score: 5/5 --- Awesome
I will post more later.

It isn't a new evolution method. Trading with item has been around for quite awhile (GSC). Kingdra, Politoed, Slowking, Porygon2. I like the fact that the Special attack is high enough to ohko Skarmory. Still, fire types are generally bad.

Yukimenoko is fast, and thats about it. No "real" attacking stats (80 isn't enough), and the defenses are deplorable. It gets good typing (Ghost and Ice), but no stats to work with.
I will post more later.

Well, im dissapointed in the cries of some of the new poke'mon. I've been watching things posted on youtube of people playing their japanese D/Ps and some legendarys just pissed me off with the cries they had. Too high pitched and unlike the older games were the poke'mon had distinct growls and roars. In D/P I just hear shrill screechin.=g.

well wat i like about magmars evo is that it looks like it came out of megaman probably some rejected version of heatman, but nontheless i kinda like the way it looks and if no one has noticed yet buuburn also gets thunder bolt through tm 24,electivire mehh not so hot it looks better as elctabuzz imo.
