I'd choose {vileplume} It's better both stat wise and regarding appearance.

To be honest, niether of them have a fantastic moveset, at least in my opinion. However I like Bellossom better.

Vileplumes are part Poison (strike one), they are described as smelling putrid (strike two), and they look like little naked guys running around with huge cowboy hats on (strike three, Vileplume's out!!!).

Bellossoms are pure Grass, they are supposed to smell wonderful, and they look graceful and elegant.

This is why Bellossom will always, always own Vileplume.

Vileplume is so weak in the elite four in Karens party.

basically all my pokemon can 1-shot it.

Don't forget that Bellossom is weak to Poison and Vileplume beeing a dual type can give you an advantage in battle + Shiny Vileplume looks better than shiny Bellossom.

The Poison dual type of Vileplume makes it more susceptible to more popular types like Psychic or Ground, which, combined with Flying, Ice, and Fire, makes Vileplume a poor choice in important battle.

I do think that Vileplume has a better moveset.

Vileplume has better moves in my opinion bellossom just stuns and puts to sleep but doesnt do any real damage.

Clone it. 2x. then, you'll have 1 shiny vileplume and one bellosom. Also, if the oddish was male, all of its offspring are shiny. DVs are passed down by the father. In GSC, shinies all have the same dvs. so, shiny father -> Shiny baby.
