Agree with me please. They should make another ''Pokemon Stadium''!!. I know there have been threads like this before but I am new and they are probably old. With all these pokemon, it would be exciting to play agianst the new leaders, and have all the rental pokemon to play agianst your friends that have no pokemon games or the ones who just cant keep up the leveling status like you can.
pokemon colosseum had a battling system, but I didnt think it was that great compared to the stadium games. I hated that there were no rental pokemon. If they did make this game what would you want to be new? I would be great on a new system with online ability. Imagine playing people across the world, It would make the game very intense, and probably keep you glued to your seats for years.
If there was anything new to the game for me it would probably be, stronger moves on the bigger pokemon (for instant the rental Feraligatr only knew water gun). More mini games and a harder trivia game.

Online play would make it awesome, I could play against my cousin in San Fransico if I wanted to. Pokemon Colosseum sucked, though both the stadium games before it were awesome . It would be great if you could battle the gymleaders again like in the Stadium games. (wipe the smile off those gym leader's faces and my cousin's hehehehe.)

I'd love a new Stadium, especially if the CPUs weren't 1337 H4X0RZ.

I mean, even a new Round 3 would be great. I belive that 388 (including munchlax and Mewthree 8) ) would be great, kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Orre, all the pokemon from each region going at it. Also the ability to play our GBA and DS games on new enhanced Dodrio mode.

That would be nice. Nintendo probably figured out that 388 Rental
Pokemon and the work to program them would be too much, so that's
why they didn't include them in Colosseum.

Kind of stupid, if you ask me.

I can't play Multiplayer with anyone now. Either they don't have a
Gamecube Link Cable, a Gameboy Advance, SP or Nintendo DS System,
or a Pokemon Advance Game.

^^^^You hit that one on the spot. Not to many people have Colosseum, and Its to hard to get any matchups. So if they made A new stadium it would give you endless battles.

the idea might not be all bad but knowing nintendo, the implementation just to be able to battle online (which will be the selling feature if it markets) will be extremely cumbersome.

allow me to explain: nintendo has an obsession with accessories unrivaled by no other company in the industry. they make a gameboy, thats really really dark on purpose so u can buy the wormlight. they make really flimsy game paks so u will buy their "official" game pak holders. if they make an online pokemon, u will have to buy a warehouse of wires, connectors, game cards, subscriptions, lights, rubber chickens (all "official and necessary" of course) in order to link play.

the idea of stadium 1 and 2 for n64 almost had the same idea that being standalone games without the gameboy ones it was down-right horrible. there is no sense of adventure or rpg like the previous gbc games and it just went tediously on battle after battle after battle....almost lacking any more creativity. i mean i liked the game b/c it could clear up the mess i had in my gbc game without the other hassles, but for someone who doesnt own another pokemon gb game, its just another accessory.

Actually, it's because backlighting woul-*batteries die*

They came with the Games up until the late '90s.

All you need is a Modem with a decent Net connection. It's now Phantasy Star works...

That was the whole point of the Game, since the Game Boy Battles were hardly difficult.

all the things uve said do fail to adequately defend nintendo's obsession with accessories.

ok backlighting drains the batteries...why couldnt it have come with a wormlight? why does the screen look dark EVEN in broad daylight??

pak holders probably came until '96 (got one in pokemon blue and that was it) and thats when they started selling the pak holders.

ur telling me that if i have a high end modem with broadband connection, i can just play phantasy star without having to connect the gamecube? again, u fail see the point.

and yes, i know the whole point of pokemon stadium was to provide the other half of just difficult battles, but thats wat im criticizing. im saying they could have put more thought to other gamers who dont own the accessories and create an enjoyable rpg on the side.

and that still does not refute my point that while sony's psp comes with usb connections fully compatible with every single pc on the entire face of the earth, nintendo sticks to exclusive connecting equipment and accessories that force subscribers to purchase them in order to fully enjoy the game (example: Nintendo 64 expansion pak u wonder y that didnt just come with the system...)

and im not saying in any way pokemon stadium 3 wouldnt be an enjoyable experience, im just saying it would only work for those dedicated pokemon fans who agree to subscribe to nintendo's policy of purchasing accessories.

and no need to label me "propagandist". i think i support my opinions with sufficient evidence and sound doctrine. just a gamer who has an opinion.

Yet you've failed to convince anyone that what you spout is nothing more than pointless bitterness.

Chimaerax wrote:

Because Nintendo wasn't aware of how bad the problem was until it had been Market Tested.

Chimaerax wrote:

So you're complaining because the Modem wasn't built-in to the GameCube? I bet if it was, you'd be complaining that the GameCube cost more because of an accessory you never use.

As for your point...enlighten me.

Considering that the Transfer Pak came with the Game...

Because it was an Upgrade so that the N64 could push itself further.

So does Michael Moore.

i dont want to argue this point much further because i dont think u fully understand me...and theres no need for bitterness. i personally have a distaste for michael moore and his opinions.

ur either a nintendo employee or an extremely dedicated consumer. i think its pretty clear from ur description of the expansion pak:

Because it was an Upgrade so that the N64 could push itself further.

i know wat its for thank you but my issue is that they could have included that with the N64...which is an example of nintendo's accesorizing mentality. the point is that no other console company creates that many accessories that are not included with the system or games that demand it.

i sincerely apologize if ive offended u in any way :( that uve had to attack my PERSONAL OPINION and force myself to defend it, twice. you are entitled to ur own opinions and i think theres a better way to raise your post count than name-calling. i also have nothing personal against nintendo, but its marketing trend has caused me to move away from purchasing anything more from its console market. sorry if ive offended ur unswavering devotion (which i envy) to nintendo and its products.

Online play is all we need, but I know what you mean about all the accesories. If hey werent so lazy, maybe there would be a better fun factor.

I look at munchlax and think to myself ''how long did it take to make that character''.

I do beilve Nintendo can be aweful lazy, if they would work on a pokemon title like they did super smash bros. Melee then everything would be just fine.

Well, about the transfer paks, I can't find one new, and I didn't want it till about a year ago, all I could find was pre-owned and rentals, neither had the transfer pak, the TP should've come with the system.

Feel free to look up "Upgrade" in Dictionary any time soon, Chimaerax.

The reason that the Expansion Pak didn't come with the N64 is because it wasn't invented then.
